I don&#8217;t pin my glutes anymore, however I pin almost everything (many of these are less than 1ml though). All heads of the shoulder, chest, long and short head of the triceps, both bicep heads, top of the thigh rec-fem, lats. </p>

I am far more in tune with the volume I can get away with and recover from now, compared to preps gone by. For example, I knew I didn&#8217;t need a back-off/2nd set for the Prime press, so that got stripped out. </p>
<p>In years gone by I&#8217;d be doing the same amount of volume at the start of prep as I would&hellip;</p>

<p>I also think it&#8217;s more likely your bloat is digestion related, rather than sodium/gear related &#8211; albeit that might be exacerbating things if there is already a gut issue.</p>

<p>If I were to apply context to where some of these opinions come from, some naturals will sometimes replace protein calories for carb calories when they start to get really depleted. However, if for now everything is flying then keep things the same. </p>

I do use fast slin pre while using lantus, but I remove it usually around 4-6 weeks later based off of blood glucose. From there, I&#8217;ll then taper my lantus up and down based on twice weekly BG readings. I like having fast slin in at the start of a push &#8211; adjusting to current CHO totals &#8211; and then I&#8217;ll remove it. </p>

I was delighted with the PWO look though, and I personally think I&#8217;m bang&hellip;</p>

<p>I take it you&#8217;ve asked to flexible diet for your show? Following a structured plan would remove all doubt. </p>

<p>My back session suffers the most from it due to it being the end of the week, but there is never a drop in intensity to compensate, like I said, the logbook is still&hellip;</p>

During my last reverse I kept losing weight for 8 weeks before the scales started going the other way. I competed at 255, and I was 249 when the scales started going the other way. Like yourself, I did get a little less tired and inflamed looking, but not much. </p>

I thought I looked pretty wild, I&#8217;ve uploaded a few shots to my IG. Ring light is brutal, so the hardness changes haven&#8217;t been picked up as much as I can see in real life. </p>
<p>No changes though, considering the average loss is ~2lbs a week with fullness holding really well.&hellip;</p>

I am actually really happy with the look and now I&#8217;m in the single digits of prep (9 weeks &amp; 5 days out), I&#8217;m excited to see where my body lands, as I think I have come in a tonne in 10 weeks.&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m delighted with the look though. I had a big drop in bodyweight today (3lbs), and I&#8217;m also a touch flat through my legs and arms. My lower pecs too, it&#8217;s easy for me to spot flatness in my lower chest because I get loose skin just under the nipple.&hellip;</p>

There are a million and one bits of research and anecdotal evidence for doing it a particular way. I take it pre-bed as I do notice a positive impact on sleep because of it. </p>

It was the first time in 3 weeks I had seen my massage therapist due to a few reasons, but the good thing that other than a knot in my quad, there wasn&#8217;t anything sinister to deal with.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure a few other can attest to this, but when I&#8217;m in that 12-6 weeks out phase, I&#8217;m never ever inflamed,&hellip;</p>
