I add them in after 80kg because like the others have stated above they add stability to the joint and i personally wouldn’t do any heavy bench press without them now. However, i don&#8217;t use them for anything else. You don&#8217;t want to become too reliant on them because the connective tissue around the wrist will&hellip;</p>

<p>Worn properly, they will add stability to the joint, which in theory (and most often in application) helps the transfer of power.</p>

My wrists take a battering from gymnastics and body building so I use mine as a precaution and support more than anything </p>
