<p>6 days into diet phase 264-248lb so a 16lb drop.<br />
No drop in performance, feel great in training. Maybe a small bit flat today but nothing crazy.</p>

Matched my prime shoulder press from last week 5pps x 14 then increased back off set by 2 reps 4pps x 18.<br />

So is weight on the scales the only factor here… no.<br />
If performance in the gym is still on an upward trajectory then I’d be hesitant to react to a plateau in weight.<br />
As hilly says hold for 2 weeks and assess what weight is doing, body composition and performance. </p>

Focus on getting stage lean and a look you are happy with. Weight should only be a concern if there is a certain weight you have to make for class. </p>

Strength felt very good and progressed most lifts.<br />
Had a posing session with Jon Lofthouse after and made some tweaks to a couple of poses which really helped. </p>

Had one of my best leg sessions ever today with the muscle doc and honestly haven’t felt pain like that in a long time! Haven’t moved from the couch all day since.</p>

The dry needling is really helping with my shoulder and haven’t had any pain the last few weeks.<br />
Appetite has gone through the roof last few days out of nowhere, nothing has changed and I’m usually quite full towards end of day but now it feels like I haven’t eaten! </p>

I’d recommend using tbjp Osteo pro, join in &amp; oh mega pro to offset any potential joint pain.<br />
Dry lips &#8211; always have lip balm on you </p>

I have switched out SLDL for RDL now as I believe this will offer more to my specific needs.<br />
Started pretty tentatively doing 180kg for 8 with a few in reserve as I did deload this session due to fatigue I mentioned from yesterday so everything was just one set today and nothing to fail. </p>

Will increase in volume add any benefit or will recovery be impacted or knock on effect on other training days.<br />
Prioritize those body parts early in session when you can get the most from them before looking to change volume would be my first move</p>

Ordered to have sushi last night instead of normal last meal &#8211; 50 pieces of sushi and woke up lighter again today so down to 251.5lbs today from 255 where I’d been sitting last few weeks.<br />
I imagine this will creep back up again this week as I get back to normal routine </p>

In a comp prep for example one might opt for higher mg usage to maintain as much muscle as possible whilst in a deficit.<br />
In bulk with higher calories you often don’t need to be using a higher mg usage unless really trying to push. </p>

Got a big serving of prepare in before this one.<br />

Pushed up to 75kg a side on prime incline having got 10 last week with 70kg a side.. managed 7 reps with good control so I’m happy with that.<br />
Most other movements moved up by a rep or 2.<br />
Weight has dropped down from 255 to 251/252 last couple of days but I put this down to being on cruise dosage now</p>

Managed 7 reps with 8 plates and then 20 reps with 5 plates for back off.<br />

I did have quite a substantial weight drop today down to 251 from 255 so we will keep an eye on this over coming days as there was no reason for it to drop. </p>

Decided to do traditional deadlift today instead of SLDL- worked up to a single on 280kg then 240&#215;10</p>
<p>No changes still in food or anything, have noticed slight improvement in body composition and no change in weight. </p>

Although we didn’t use much weight I found the session very tough.</p>
