I have always freaked out about it. Usually the next step is the doctor orders an albumin to creatinine ratio test in urine. If you had the +1 protein it will probably be elevated. <p>I am wondering what you guys believe around holding a specific bodyweight after a push phase and cycle and when to start cutting to keep the gains. </p>

<p>Bloodwork: Totally fine, creatinine fine, egfr great, cystatin C great.</p>
<p>Urinalysis: Shows protein in urine, specifically Albumin to be high in urine while creatinine is normal in urine but it skews that magical &#8220;ratio&#8221; that the lab looks for of under 3. </p>

<p>Thanks so much! EGFR is totally fine and so is creatinine, it is more the albumin aspect IN URINE that is elevated which skews that ratio and this is the &#8220;protein in the urine&#8221; concern. </p>

I am wondering how common is it to see zero protein in urine dipstick but an elevated ACR or albumin/creatinine ratio in bloodwork and what are some ways to improve it and how concerned one should be? For peace of mind, I personally would do the biopsy and  an ultrasound and ask for constant monitoring. Your number is quite high but with no other sign of kidney damage is just a marker. <p>In bodybuilding we talk lots about bloodwork, blood sugar and blood pressure. But a lot of people seem to skip over resting heart rate. When I am close to a show, light and/or off gear I am in the 40-50 range. But as soon as food goes up, weight is up and gear is added I am hitting the 80-90 range. One of the most amazing and easy fixes I have found for this is doing yoga. I truly believe every strength athlete (actually every athlete really) should do yoga. <p>I was going through some old videos here and there was a very good one that Jordan mentions that he feels he grew too fast and made mistakes that at 32 his midsection is blown out and he cannot compete because of this. </p>
