<p>ive been doing upper lower for a pretty long time now, 1,5 years or so and i really like the split. i am progressing but its very slow. ive been doing some very low volume workout stuff during the whole time like around 10 sets during both my upper and lower workouts.</p>

<p>usually going to the gym 30-40 min after i woke up.</p>
<p>so a carb heavy meal the night before and then just smashing some pre/intra carbs with some eaas</p>

<p>How should one plan for meals while training early in the morning?</p>
<p>would a hefty amount of intra carbs be enough? or would it be important to eat something digesteble before??</p>
