My goal (like most) is to be as big and muscular as my frame will allow. My heads just full of mince the now, and I&#8217;ve come of the tracks.</p>

<p>Back and forth with JP&#8217;s FBEOD, Dorian&#8217;s spilt, high volume, low volume, bodypart a day, chest/delts/triceps, back/biceps done 2x a week.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m back and forth on this. I like the idea of saving the energy on the &#8216;lesser&#8217; sets, but I also feel like I&#8217;m missing out on something by leaving so many reps out.</p>

<p>There is one other thing to add to the mix, I am 100% natural. I&#8217;m only throwing that in (as if it makes a huge difference) because I&#8217;ve read and seen so much on FBEOD is probably best for naturals.</p>

<p>I was diagnosed at the end of last year with multiple mental disorders. It&#8217;s effected everything in my life.</p>

<p>But I totally understand where you are coming from, and the principal of training more frequently. I think had I discovered you back when I started in 2007, I wouldn&#8217;t be asking as many questions as I do today.</p>

Or, do you pyramid up using the least amount of reps as possible I.e 1-3 reps instead of doing 20, 18, 15 etc every set.</span></p>

Wish him a big future. Wish I could go back and redo everything. Anyway that&#8217;s life.</p>
<p>His training style is quite interesting. He tends to lead by instinct it seems, hitting individual bodyparts throughout the week in no particular order.</p>

<p>I can&#8217;t do any bodyweight movements unfortunately. The routine I&#8217;m currently using is all the above exercises eod, with one main work set, sometimes 2. </p>
<p>I want to keep it as close to what I was doing before I was admitted. It was on the guidelines of what JP recommended like as many warm up sets as needed with like 1-3 reps, then my&hellip;</p>

<p>E.g when doing a chest press, is there any benefit to pausing at the bottom (stretch) before doing the lifting phase. Holding the dumbbell for a count at the top of a dumbbell curl etc. Etc.</p>

<p>Or should I just focus on moving more weight  in a 6-9 rep range, with decent form?</p>

I follow a guy called Kevin Frasard and he swore he saw the best gains he had ever gotten from it, and still advocates it.</p>

The training part is easy compared to eating the right things to see noticeable changes from the training in the first place. My problem is I have no patience in preparing decent meals for myself, I just don&#8217;t have the patience or attention span.</p>
