<p>When changing up my split abit though I went to only 1 set hack + 1 set leg extensions 2x per week to lower guads as a priority. And this makes quadstrenght progress more then any other time.</p>
<p>Seems like that might be the best way for quads then. </p>

<p>Can&#8217;t yet say that I have felt any hypo symptoms either even though I was down to 3.1.</p>
<p>Also can&#8217;t really say I&#8217;ve felt these &#8220;crazy pumps&#8221; (just normal pumps) that some people talk about when doing pre workout insulin. Is 100-150 pre+intra&hellip;</p>

<p>I have a basic understanding of how insulin stores nutrients in the body/how it works but what I dont understand is how exogenous insulin can bring such anabolic(/anti catabolic) properties!</p>

<p>Say blood glucose is at 5.0, I then eat carbs, food gets processed and bg rises, z amount of insulin gets secreted by the pancreas&hellip;</p>

<p>However as an example if you are doing this on high days like JH does.</p>
<p>check BG pre meal 1   </p>

Every 20mins?every 30 mins?</p>
<p>Also do you check this at home to find your set insulin:carb ratio at first then do it whilst working out?</p>

<p>How about doing U/L/extra with bic,tric, calvs and abs on the extra day and removing them from the other days, would be a less stressfull workout so might be able to do that without&hellip;</p>

<p><span>Quads and chest are in good spot to be prioritized lower atm but ofc still want more size, not a problem to have them last in their sessions and still progress lifts!</span></p>

Yes bud I would adjust the carbs and have 50 intra initially until you asses response of the set up[/quote]</p>

<p>Been thinking of starting to use insulin on my highdays and possible also on my middays if training in the morning.</p>

<p>Been thinking of using rapid acting and wondering how many units to start of at and then to taper up to know how much is right.</p>
<p>Have a glucose monitor at hand.</p>

<p>Highdays are at 735c right now so fairly high carbs. </p>
