This is going perfectly so far I’d say. 4 weeks out this weekend and Ye around 7-8 pounds to come off which we will get easily by the worlds. Still in the process of sorting visas which is a bitch! We have already agreed on Corinne’s dietary adjustments for next week. Much the same as this week gone, pulling 50 or 60g carbs from a training day and taking clen up again. Quite simple really when manage to get food to a good start point.

Our body knows the loads we lift. It will adapt to total work, ( load x reps) . Iso moves can’t load. Body won’t grow as much. Leg extensions don’t take away from a leg compound move so I have no issues with that. A fly hugely takes away from it so I have a big issue with that

I still feel any pwo cardio to be less than optimal if the goal is to grow. Ensuring you stay active and moving across the day is a better way to stay healthy and fit. Without interfering with that post workout period where imo nutrition and recovery is more important

An ideal way around this is ensuring you v slowly increase calories over an offseason and try to minimise body fat gains occurring fast. If can build your calories up pretty high with this patient approach you will be in a position to get lean doing much less cardio

I think it would be a gd idea if you enjoy cardio and find legs don’t get tired and it effects training . I personally only like the idea of cardio at the dog end of preps using it as a tool to keep burning calories if there is nothing left to play with

Diet looks great and doing cardio pre gym is fine if u feel it gets your body ready to lift. From here it’s just about staying on that diet and training hard , and then reducing calories / increasing energy expenditure slowly , to keep dropping fat

Glute ham raises are in every other leg workout I do ATM. I haven’t maxed them out yet in this run.

Stephen, yes. I try to offset this by using things like halo and mtren at the end of a prep. Just to help hold strength. For a beginner using a little anavar here would have the same effect.
