Andy, i took around 4 months or so off and only started back a couple weeks ago, as i had so much going on and was wrecked. <p>I have been aggressive cutting for the past few months on circa 1500 cals at the lowest and losing a good amount of bodyweight in that time. Starting to slowly reverse out now and push up very slowly and have raised TD cals to 2500 and NTD to 2100. I have actually seen bodyweight go down quicker since doing this.</p>

<p>Just preference but i use pronated grip for chest work, and if i decide to use neutral grip i would use it as a tricep press variation as i find the nautilus (the one at my gym anyway) is loaded heavier in the end range  🙂 </p>

<p>Maybe get bloods done and see if there is any glaring issues there. Also assess your programming and diet as well as your recovery factors. </p>

<p>Hi Jordan, don&#8217;t disagree with you at all. Definitely think only that one muscle can do the work if set up is spot on. </p>
<p>Have no evidence behind me with this but I feel it may be the ability to recruit more overall muscle fibres when you have a strong connection (and not one that is fostered, one that you&#8217;ve always semi had). All while&hellip;</p>

<p>Hi Jordan, do you think this has something to do with a slight roll of your wrist when pressing? I&#8217;ve had that before and mine hasn&#8217;t bothered me since i&#8217;ve been working on a sort of bulldog grip/making sure my straps are high enough up my wrist to keep all the downward force directed through my wrist.</p>

<p>Adding cardio into the mix while running full-body, would this best be done just on rest days? I don&#8217;t have the ability to do it in the morning of training days due to work. And would Zone 2 bike be the smartest option as it is the least impactful form of cardio?</p>

In a deficit atm and sometimes I see plateaus in scale weight or sometimes a slight gain, nothing horrendous. As a whole it comes down. But despite the plateaus and minor weight gain i still see my physique getting leaner. </p>

<p>Hi Jan, thanks for the response. Due to my work, I end up at the gym around 5/6, and the session then takes me to around 8 o&#8217;clock. By the time I&#8217;m home I really only have 1 meal I can have before bed which means i need to eat more in that one meal. So would this whole meal be better off being a fast digesting source or slow digesting if it is&hellip;</p>

<p>First time I&#8217;ve done a proper cut before, and in the first week I&#8217;ve taken off about 3kg, calories have been stuck to as per tbJP diet planner.</p>
<p>2700 TD 2400 NTD </p>
<p>Was wondering if there is bound to be an initial drop off despite calories still being high or if I need to eat more to stop too much weight coming off?</p>

<p>At my gym we have a Nautilus flat chest press plate loaded. My issue is that i see the traditional machine has an adjustable resistance profile, mine does not and loads the lockout extremely hard. What I&#8217;ve found is that my progression on this machine alone has stalled harddd since I&#8217;ve gotten strong on it. </p>
