<p>-add an intensity technique onto one or two sets per workout and assess fatigue and recovery</p>
<p>or</p>
<p>-add one straight set to a compound for a similar rep range to the top set and again, assess fatigue and recovery.</p>
<p>youre not going to notice a difference if you added ONE straight set to say a bicep&hellip;</p>

Why not try:</p>
<p>Push (Chest focused), Pull (Biceps and back-width focused), Legs (Equal quad/ham focused), Rest, Push&hellip;</p>

<p>You can be sure you have progressed when either (1) you can use the same weight but have added reps, or (2) you have performed the same amount (or more) reps but added weight.</p>
<p>You have done neither. so its hard to say..</p>
<p>Also &#8211; this is Kubas log. ask you Q on the forum. it waters down his thread.</p>

<p>in the past, leading into a show i would have killed myself, training with the same volume with dropsets and rest/pauses etc. After learning a lot more from kuba, jewett, and yourself i have really reduced volume leading into the show and expect a fresher look and feel. 1-2 hard&hellip;</p>
