<p>Client check ins this morning, then I managed to train today which was nice. I think from next week I’ll be able to lift a little more because I will be 4 weeks post labour on Sunday. </p>
<p>Going to do my first lower session tomorrow. Which I can’t wait for! </p>

<p>Rest day for me today, will just be doing 3 sessions this week then take it day by day see if I can start adding some cardio back in. But again just doing things gradually as I don’t want to rush anything and then need to rest for longer or affect my core. </p>

Rather than reacting straight away with a short fuse. </p>
<p>Try lowering the test and see how you get on. </p>

<p>Today went to train but I think moving forwards Monday might need to be my rest day as it’s quite hard fitting everything in now with Effie as it’s my busiest check in day too. </p>

<p>Today was my first full day with Effie and the dogs as Nathan left at 5am to head to a show with clients. </p>
<p>Still figuring out managing work, cleaning, meal prepping etc when it’s just me and Effie. But I’m sure when she sleeps longer and doesn’t eat as frequently, it will be much better. </p>

<p>Many athletes can keep GH in as it does help with fullness, whereas other hold a lot of fluid so will need to pull out in peak week. </p>

<p>Today I went in my first walk with the dogs on my own post partum, I feel fine but can tell I am still healing, so nice and steady! usual client work, housework, sorting Effie etc. then me Effie and nath went to do a bit of shopping, get out the house, got Effie some new outfits and some&hellip;</p>

Generally I like working 8-10 or 12-15 for glutes. Sometimes 15-20 for certain exercises. </p>
<p>I think set intensifiers have a place too, deeming on where you’re at, for example if you are in your off season and recovery is good. </p>

<p>Personally I agree with the others in bringing your baseline diet up to maintenance, allowing performance to improve before moving into your fat loss phase again. </p>

<p>Day 6 today of our little girlie, it’s starting to sink in now she’s here. </p>
<p>We had another midwife appointment come out as we was in hospital with her yesterday. </p>
<p>Luckily the jaundice has all flushed but she was down a lot in weight. She is now backup to her day 3 weight, of course once we knew she was under feeding we wouldn’t let that happen! </p>

<p>Today we had our day 3 midwife appointment , Effie is a little yellow, so got to keep an eye on jaundice, we went to get her scanned today and she was just under the threshold, so hopefully after a good day of feeding she will be ok, but Friday we may need to get her checked again too! </p>

<p>Appologise for the lack of updates, I went into labour Saturday night. </p>
<p>Started waking up every hour with which I thought was braxton hicks, then Sunday morning around 5am then went to every 10mins, that’s when I noticed there was a clear pattern. </p>
<p>At 8:30am they had gone to around every 6mins. </p>
<p>I managed to stay at home until 5:30pm but&hellip;</p>

<p>Today was my due date, but no baby yet. Braxton hicks have been coming throughout the day (I think) but no signs as turning into labour! </p>
<p>I have midwife wife appointment tomorrow so we shall see what happens. </p>
<p>No training for me today, just labour prep, yoga and walking </p>

<p>I would utilise a deload first and then once you know you are super fresh, you can reassess what is best for you. You may want to pop your upper sessions in here so we can have a look over them for you. </p>

<p>Happy Tuesday! This morning we had some signs that labour is approaching, but who knows when &#x1f605; could be hours, days, weeks lol &#x1f602; </p>
<p>So we wait patiently and let the body do what it’s made to do &#x1f604; client work all done super early then I went to get my nails done, car cleaned, housework and chilled in the garden with the dogs 🙂 of course&hellip;</p>

I fully agree with the guys above! Nathan has been using a cryo cuff for his knee, I’m sure you can get them for your wrist too they are fantastic! But you do need to find out what the issue is, reduce swelling and go from there. </p>

<p>No sign of baby yet! Still a few more days until my due date, but lots of predictions for early labour &#x1f605; </p>
<p>We have been to see my family today, it was quite full on so I just had to sit outside for a little while, but apart from that it was so lovely to see everyone!</p>

<p>Feeling so much better again today! No dizziness, just a foggy head and feeling super tired! Which is frustrating but just got make sure don’t do too much too soon! </p>
<p>I had the midwife today and they are sending me for a scan tomorrow so we get to see her again before she decides to come out &#x1f929;</p>

<p>We took a trip to the doctors yesterday who then sent me into pregnancy assessment until for further monitoring. </p>
<p>Thankfully babies pattern, movement &amp; HR was all perfect, my bloods was all good, they just couldn’t understand why I was feeling like that. </p>
<p>Which was so confusing for us all as I am no drama queen &#x1f648; we build up resilience&hellip;</p>
