If you&#8217;re taking in 150g + carbohydrates in each meal, and your BG isn&#8217;t returning to 5 90-120 minutes after those meals&#8230;obviously the fast acting insulin becomes a useful tool here! If not, you could wait until BG becomes more elevated to use the Novo. </p>

If you push up calories too quick, that is the first place that is going to store fat! </p>

<p>I would say add 700-800 calories on top of those 1800 and 2000 days and reduce steps to 10k.</p>
