Happy for you Jordan that you were able to get good leg workout despite the injury.
Last week we spoke about taking out pre-workout insulin, and I must say that your advice was spot on. Took it out, and looking much sharper now. Maybe just getting leaner, but seems that my skin is much thinner, can see a lot more veins that I hadn’t seen a few days ago. Down a couple more pounds also.
In regards to the long esters vs short esters, you mentioned that you were going with short esters to get a faster ‘hit’ right out of the gate. Now if you were to to just stick to long esters (despite the volume) and the whole prep was going well, would you see any merit n switching out at about 5 or 4 weeks out from Tren E to Ace, Mast E to Prop etc.. Or would you stick to the mentality if it’s not broken don’t fix it?
Reason why I’m asking is because it’s the first time I’m running a prep with long esters, and everything is going great (and enjoying pinning only 3 times a week). But the back of my head I have that voice telling me to switch to short esters just because that’s what all of internet always says to do. I think I already know your answer (stay with long) but had to ask because just the nature of this sport is to always look for that extra 1%… even if it’s not really there 🙂

Thank you for the reply Jordan. Makes sense. I’m 6.5 weeks out and currently doing on workout days 68g fast carbs directly before stepping into the gym (fasted morning), 10iu Humalog, 30g intra, 30g post workout shake, and 56g meal about 45 minutes later. That’s all my carbs for the day. I think I will stop the insulin now and see what happens. Like you said, can always be put back in. Thanks again and you created an amazing resource of information here. I’ve learned more here in a few weeks then did in years. Well worth the money.

Hi Jordan, Noticed that you took out insulin right at the beginning of the prep. Will you put it back in at all? You are still eating plenty of carbs pre/intra/post workout, so do you think its better to just rely endogenous insulin during a prep rather then exogenous insulin? Meaning the negatives of even small amounts (5 or 10iu) of fast acting humalog outweigh the benefits?
Thanks

Hey Alex Calani regarding skipping multiple pages, not sure if you figured it out; but to skip pages you can simply change the page number in the url in the address bar and hit enter.
For example if you are browsing https://www.trainedbyjp.com/forums/topic/jordan-pro-before-30-lets-do-this/page/36/
Than simply change the 36 to 20 hit enter and you will hop to page 20 on the thread.
Hope this helps.
