I totally agree with Allison. I suggest adjusting your split to suit your needs a little better. Allison outlined it very well. Remember that your main goal is to progress those leg sessions! Think about recovery too, if you’re very active at work and you find your bodyweight doesn’t come up, and your lifts are slow to progress you may need a little more food, you may need to focus on better sleep. Be as accurate as you can in those leg sessions and give your full effort. It will take some time but it will be worth it 👍🏼

I agree with all the suggestions. I am in a situation where I can’t diet yet because I don’t have enough muscle in my lower. From here I gradually start to increase my calories (from carbs) and focus on leg workouts. Thanks for the valuable advice ❤️

the other thing to consider is your output is very high in terms of steps – so you will ned to monitor volume etc closely and less may well be more for yourself.

Also as Alison says depending on how much focus you truly want to give the lower you could reduce upper work right down to just once per week or hit lower 3 x a week or EOD and just tag some upper work on the back of sessions. I find this works very well indeed

Yes! I think I’ll adapt my split as Allison suggested, avoiding upper for a while, doing some delts and lat work at the end of the session. Maybe only isolation movements for 2/3 sets.
Thanks everyone for the great advice!❤️

I see! How is your training structured right now. Have you been progressing your lifts? How is your recovery?

My split is push,pull(+glutes/hams),leg, off upper, lower. 2 working sets 8-12
Progress is very slow on leg days.
I was doing cardio 7 days/week, I reduced it to 1 30’ session every other day.
    I’ve a very active job, 24000 steps/day

Hiya Alessandra. I am very much like this too. My upper body naturally sits leaner than my lower half. If you’re dieting it just takes more time for your lower body to come in. What are you looking to achieve right now?

Hi Maddy, I’m currently trying to grow my lower. It seems to be further back than the upper. I’d like to balance the upper with the lower
