What’s the difference between your low days and high days right now H?

15.5 Weeks Out of the first show

102.5kg this morning. Had a very good week of bodybuilding. I had a funeral to attend on Monday that wasn’t local to me which meant I left home early and got back late but still managed to keep to the diet, hit my step count and had a great training session, which is just what is required in prep, but up until recently a day like that I would have probably had a meal out, probably wouldn’t have hit my steps and maybe skipped training after getting home late, so it feels good to be fully committed in this way.

Visuals are slowly changing, though I still haven’t decided on classic or MP. I’ve started practicing MP style posing and attached some photos.

Slight reduction in calories since Saturday.

    P – 322g

    C – 527g

    F – 58g

    Fiber – 37g

    Total: ~3,910 kcals

    No change to PEDs

I really like the idea of calorie targets instead of timing for cardio. I heard Nathan say he does that now which makes total sense, something I’ll definitely apply with clients.

You said you went to the gym on your rest day for posing. Do you tend to practice posing every day at the moment?

Hey Kuba. I know you’re extremely particular with your food, especially in prep obviously. When travelling on prep like this Dubai trip, do you pre-plan where you’ll go to do food shopping etc. or will you trust a meal prep company to handle it for those six days?

This is something that used to stress me out if travelling on prep, not knowing if I could get all the particulars, brands etc.

It’s been a while, but we’re back babayyyy.

I’ll spare you a long story, but my leg wasn’t ready to come back to training after the ham tear, so ended up tearing my adductor, then got ill with a bad digestive flare up and sprinkle some family issues on top of that and the idea of a prep was kicked to the curb.

But here I am, feeling good and ready to go. So I’m just gonna get started and see what happens. The plan is to compete in a 2bros regional in 17 weeks, a PCA regional in 19 weeks and (if we do well) decide which finals to do.

Up until last week I’d been running 300mg Test. Here’s the cycle as of today:

    450mg Test

    315mg EQ

    350mg Mast

    4iu GH

    10iu Lantus

    40mg Telmisartan

    Macros are:

    P – 325g

    C – 565g

    F – 61g

    Fiber – 38g

    Total: ~4,100 kcals

Watch this bag of milk transform in to something hopefully resembling a competitive bodybuilder.

In years prior I would have split. But as I understand it now, it won’t have any additional fat burning benefits prior to fasted cardio and a more bolus dose pre bed may actually improve sleep.

I’m just about to begin prep myself and will be dosing all pre bed this time round.

Ever so slight drug tweak , primo down a touch test up a touch , just based on what I can see will be low e2 in a few more days , so always want to move on that and adjust those up / down based on feel , it only takes me a few days on each adjustment to knkw its right

So test from 350 to 525 and primo from 1400 to 1260

What are your tell-tale signs for you when e2 is getting low before you make an adjustment based on that? For me I always know when libido has tanked and joints get stiff but I know everyone is different.

Smart. Nothing is worth a pec tear 😂

Just out of interest, what do you like about EQ vs Primo alone at a higher dose? You don’t see many people running it these days.

Do you tend to end up switching to lower risk movements when you get deeper in to prep, and things don’t feel as stable in those heavy free weight movements? Or do you like to stick to what put the muscle there in the first place?

    Hi Ellis,

Yeah, I usually pull all free weight pressing out for a machine alternative, usually around the 6-4 week mark if we’re putting a definitive time on it. I think it’s the style of training that is more important than the movement itself[/quote]

PLEASE fall in love with the process first. I started training at your age, and made so much progress in those first two years with debatably pretty crap genetics. Concentrate on training hard and having fun with it and get the diet nailed down to the point where your mates THINK you’re on gear.

Mast e has been fine to still get, I know primo especially 200mg has been very hard to get. Definitely only go with suppliers you trust because there’s a lot of fakes about at the moment. I’d start to stock up where you can though, maybe you need a few different accounts to order from lol

My elderly next door neighbour may be receiving some dodgy parcels 😂

Interesting that Jordan and Kuba had such different experiences from Nath and Hilly. I know that Joe ran it for his pro card prep too.

I’d recommend getting a full blood panel done first so you have a reference point.

300mg Testosterone a week is an ideal starting point and likely all you will need for a long time as long as diet, training and recovery are locked in.

After 8 weeks get a second panel done and see where things are at.
