I like 1.5g per lb from direct sources. Remember that MFP will count all vegan sources of protein from the rest of your foods, for example the protein found in nuts, veg, oats etc.

Quick Friday update
Great week training, amazing in fact!!
Trained legs with Jordan and Kuba Monday which smashed me, rest day Tuesday, Push Wednesday and Pull yesterday with Kuba and Jimmy, Kuba’s client.
It will be a rest today and this weekend as I’m away for my anniversary but I’m very happy with how everything is going. My attitude towards training intensity and the accuracy of intent with in each rep is on another level.
I know I can only grow from here ????
My next log will be on high volume vs low volume training approach, my thoughts and views….stay tuned!
sounds good Jamie, looking forward to your views and what kind of split you are using with Jordan

Thanks for the reply Jamie!
Yeah stress is probably a bit higher than usual, my son was born in December and being the soul bread winner at the moment puts me under a bit more pressure with childcare costs about to kick in, but we’ve set a budget for everything which puts my mind at ease a bit, so that should help haha!Other than that, my doses are lower than they have been in the past in an off season setting, but not low by any means.
Test is at 765, split between Test E and Test P, 600 NPP and 900 Primo. My plan of action was to cut calories down ,which I’ve now done, and if that doesn’t resolve things too much, I’ll back off the doses a touch and see where that takes me.The Muscle Archiect - Online Coaching

Hey Jamie! I’ve followed your journey since 2015 and your progress since then has been crazy, I got to see you in person back stage at the 2bros show last August which was cool and made me think about stepping up my game ????
I’ve been having appetite issues recently too and just this week I’ve drastically reduced calories (from about 5,200 to around 3,000) just because I can’t stomach the food and even now this amount is a struggle. Just wondering how long you reduced cals to see an increase in appetite again and were there any particular types of food you cut out?

Out of curiosity, what about a high carb diet doesn’t agree with you?
I find in an off season I can’t hammer the carbs day after day as it just kills my appetite and backs me up and bloats me out.
My solution was to drastically reduce carb intake on rest days and bump up fats, this seems to let me carry on in a big surplus and much high carb intake on training days and eat around maintainance or just under on rest days. It give my digestion a break and training has been excellent.
I think this set up is fine. Keeps insulin sensitivity high too by dropping carbs in favour of fats on rest days.

Last season I could only get hold of HCTZ, first time using a diuretic too. First show I used 1 and 1/2 tabs and made me soft and rebound was horrible. 3rd show 1/2 a tab got me dry enough and didn’t lose any fullness, that being said obviously being lean first is what makes a diuretic of any use in the first place.

Hey Jordan, what do you feel impacts appetite more, high NPP or high test? Or in the scenario that you’re using it would it not matter? Pre contest for example shouldn’t matter as food isn’t high enough to see the impact in appetite?

Looking at that T Muscle log reminds me of when I first got in to Bodybuilding around 2012, just a few short years ago but there seemed to be so much more emphasis on heavy hard training, lots of food and earning the muscle in the off season. I feel like big off seasons are neglected nowadays, probably due to people wanting to uphold an image on social media. But it’s evidently crucial to put the time and work in to get the muscle, getting to those uncomfortable places are not desirable or pretty but necessary to bring large amounts of new tissue to the stage. Such a great read and reminder of how guys like you got to where you are Jordan!

Thanks Dr Dean! Is there anything you’d suggest for lowering ALT? And could it be possible that it isn’t liver related as the rest of my liver panel came back in range?

if that’s the case, that REALLY sucks haha. Magnus had some really impressive lab results recently and I have about 20 vials of Magnus stuff ready to go for the next blast.

That’s worrying. I wonder if my body is just shit at metabolising the drugs or Magnus is a no go?

was that nmol/L or mmol/DL, the second measurement I think they use in the US more which makes things confusing. I did have them done before at 250mg and was above range but can’t remember by how much. The lab is Magnus which results have come back very well I understand
