Thanks Stephen! Would you recommend an increase in fats with the drop in carbs to normalise water retention or just manipulate carbs for now and slowly put them back in as everything stabilises? Thanks 🙂

A bit of extra info:
Slight shortness of breath, swollen ankles if I’m on my feet for a while, itchy skin and slight indent in ankle if pressed for 5 secondsnone of these are incredibly debilitating, the lower back while traing legs and back is the worst part, but I know they’re signs of edema, which I’ve had before post show but only after a 3 day all out binge last year. I’ll check blood pressure today, I feel like it’s slightly elevated.
I do have HCTZ on hand, but as that’s probably what contributed to this in the first place I believe that will only set me up for a further water rebound?

Mike, do you know how Alan meant that chart to be read? It says rate of muscle gain but does he mean that percentage each month should be overall bw gain or just weight from muscle?

Hi Jordan, in regards to your current ab work… Is the loading on the rope crunches fairly light? In my prep this season I did a lot of weighted rope crunches, which brought a good look to my abs but on reflection I think it thickened my obliques too much.

How did you go about this? I always feel like this could be beneficial but wouldn’t want to take any laxatives or something drastic on show day

@evalution-coaching Thanks Stephen. This will be my third and last show of the season (PCA British) the last two shows I dropped my t3 to 25mcg after prepping on 50mcg and dropped clen to 40mcg after using 120mcg, I felt that this combined with the carb up made me spill a lot more than I would have done otherwise. I’m at a good look now in terms of body fat and dryness, just could be a touch fuller, what do you think about keeping t3 at 50 and clen at 120 with a milder carb up? A safer bet maybe?
