Hi Argon
I hope you get all the answers you need with your gut repair phase, I wish you well.
If sleep is down and you’re feeling tired this will directly affect your training performance. It would be advisable to take some days rest for sure, no weights / reduced output.
If you haven’t already, speak with your direct in regards to what is happening with your digestive system so he can advise you here as your protocol will be unique to you
Sounds great Mark will take the rest of the week off, thank you!

According to some gut tests I did I have leaky gut and fermentive gut dysbiosis, the nutritionist gave me a 0 fodmap diet with a bias towards fish instead of meat, a handful of supps to which I added zinc carnosine

Thank you so much, I’ve been dealing with gut issues since covid actually 🙁
Tried so many approaches and finally starting to feel better with the guidance of a nutritionist from italy here.I’ve done half a week of devolume so far, feeling much better today but saw no drop in BW actually keeps creeping up and digestion still not great

Got it!

Thank you very much for your response Kuba, makes sense! So you think a fatter individual needs more cardio to get in shape? I would have thought the opposite.
-
How much cardio would you assign max to avoid it being too stressful on the body? I’m about 80 kg really lean, 104kg currently
-
I would opt for something similar to what I do where I have Wednesday off and Sunday off that way I have plenty of rest between
And you do Upper lower 2 rotations?
-
That’s actually a solid idea but I would have trouble structuring the split because the time between same sessions will be even longer…I could try that of course! But first I’d like to give this a go, what do you think about the amount of sets I’m doing?
Your overall training volume looks fine. Give it a go see how you get on and how your recovery is also[/quote]
Will do thanks Marc!
-
Have you tried this set up with this current volume yet?? How are you recovering from it???
No this is the first week but the weekly volume is similar to what I’ve done before, somewhat lower considering I was doing a second push and a posterior at the end of the week.
I’m just worried this is too much for torso and too little for arms potentially

Thanks for all the replies! I’ll try slowly adding more fats and find the sweet spot 🙂

MemberApril 8, 2024 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Biceps, triceps, lat training techniquesNatural to think how you can make improvements. Your comment on how you do lat biased row / pulldowns tell me you have an understanding of training, so there’s no need for you to look around too much at what others are doing. Who are these others and what experience do they have?
If you have been making progress continue as you are. If you are looking to improve and look at the finer details invest in a coach who will then look at your training videos and give you form reviews (if they offer that as a service). Aside from that some of the guys here on the site such as Kuba, Oscar etc have great content on their YouTube channels. This would be a good place for you to look at their form and how you can implement that into your own training
I do look at Kuba for pretty much any information regarding training and nutrition. I do like to have a coach in play but it’s not always easy to afford one especially since I can only trust a few guys like Kuba who are very expensive. Most importantly I’m working on my health at the moment so it makes sense to fix that first before working with a bodybuilding coach
Thanks for the advice brother!

MemberApril 8, 2024 at 6:27 am in reply to: Biceps, triceps, lat training techniquesThanks man I don’t like to overthink training but I just don’t want to potentially waste gains that could be made by doing things better that’s all!
I’ll stop overthinking it then 🙂

Hey bro, I’m in Italy too so I feel you, luckily my gym is not the worst and I get to workout at less busy times
I recommend sticking to the plan as best as possible, changing exercise order won’t impact performance massively so you can still track if there are progressions over time. Do your best to work in with people
If possible, change your routine around and workout at another time.
Moving to a city would be ideal, I actually am planning to do that relatively soon
Hope this helps!
