Kidneys are not looking that good, and your CRP is too high man. It’s telling you that’s body is not agreeing with something, could be from carrier oil in your PEDS, or diet and other stuff, but most of the time is the gear that you’re using so look that up my man, i wouldnt let that go above 1 in normal circumstances, but you’re on prep so little bit higher is normal but 5.5..

Just my opinion, look it up.

Yes I’ve looked this up, its higher in people with diabetes (I am diabetic)

Although it is cause for concern of course with all the things that could be linked to a high CRP reading…

    I’ll get this looked into

    Hard to tell you

    Exactly without ranges.

Kidneys don’t look in healthy range at all tho.

So these were all out and then you started a cycle ?

Also, I see you mention this on a older post with a similar issue…

The water retention in the morning is noticeably less, its most noticeable after a day at work etc

Can you post the actual blood panel. Some tests differ to what they deem healthy range

I’ll try post it again mate, but the pictures won’t upload last time for some reason ?

No , according to the ranges on the blood test they are all in normal range except liver alt, and kidney Serum urea/sodium very slightly…

I’m going to order a kidney panel from medichecks today (even if inconsistent)

And to update ill be finishing the cycle as of today , as I think that’s the most sensible option right now

Water retention was worse yesterday – however I did eat alot of junk over weekend which I think was the main reason (was on prep 15 weeks) for the increase in water retention, but im keeping a close eye on the matter

I see your logic here and I see where Oscar may be going with this.

I believe the 2 push sessions in a week provided recovery, exercise selection and volume is considered is not a bad thing.

2 pull sessions in 5 days with a leg session in between may be a little too much to recover from. I feel one of the pull sessions and likely the 2nd one will suffer. This could be a machine based no lower loading session and see how you get on but I think it will need a close eye. Also leg movements will need to be brought into consideration.

I think it’s a case of do it and see how you get on here

My idea at the moment will be

    Pull 1
No lower back loading, mainly pull downs and width work

    Pull 2
    Would be more rows/rdl etc

    Push 1 more chest biased

    Push 2 more shoulder biased

    Legs quad/hams

Ok mate, ill get them results and I’ll post them back on here bud ?…

And FYI- it was full blood panel, liver, kidney, thyroid etc etc… every test I’ve had done via the doctors has always included full kidney panel – so I’d be suprised if this one didn’t…

But let me sort that out and ill post it on here

Imo it’s defo not the creatine but simply dropping it would let you know.

Did the doctor do a full in-depth blood panel to counter any issues raised with medi check ?

The issue with the medichecks was the egfr , I dont know exactly what the result was from doctors but they said it all came back normal

So the above is correct in general defo

    Agree.

I suppose the one off rare issue is you have kidney issues and this is just adding stress causing This.

Have you had any bloods ?

Is the retention on waking or during the day accumulation

I had to write 10000 words on the stuff at uni and I can guarantee this is not a documented side etc

There is always that one rare case tho

    Thanks for replies guys…

    So answering you hilly –

The water retention seems fine or not as bad in the morning, but towards the end of the day I notice sock rings on my lower legs and for example if I sit on the toilet my trousers etc will leave marks on my shins…

I noticed this around 6 months ago deep into off season so just assumed it was cause I was heavy/out of shape etc… now I’m 5.5 weeks out (I was as I pulled out), and problem remains..

I’ve tried a few options, upped the ai, increase/decrease sodium, increase/decrease water, dandelion root etc I’ve now just dropped yohimbine to see if it clears up..

I had bloods from medi checks 3 months ago start of prep and values where off , but a couple guys mentioned medichecks been off lately, so I got a renal panel from my doctor and everything was OK..

I’m type 1 diabetic so I’m wondering if jts complications with that? I spoke to doctor earlier in week and have a ECG and ACR tests booked for June 2nd…

Tbh im just clutching at straws really trying to find answers lol

For some reason it wouldnt let me reply to the comments individually…

Jamie – ill add in krill oil, must be only supp not on my supp shelf atm lol..

I usually do blood letting around every 3/4 months, however as my weight goes up so does my BP regardless… so I think mostly is bp related so ill look into options at getting this sorted..

Hilly – the egfr number is 56.63
