keep an eye on your estrogen levels when you do bloodwork to reduce the acne to a minimum. start the accutane dose really really low and slowly work your way up if needed and if bloodwork/side effects allow you to. give it time to do its job before you start upping the dose. Like i said before, you acne will get worse before it starts to get better so be patient. since isotretinoin is a form of vitamin-a, always take it with fats to ensure your body can absorb it properly. i just want to say that, like DrDeanStMart, im not a fan of accutane use (except for really bad cases of acne).

Current calorie range is 1600-2000 depending on whether it is a training day or not. We have tried varying macros to see if this has an impact, always staying high on the protein, but switching between low fat/high carb and vice versa. This doesnt really seem to have made a difference with regards to hunger though. We reckon maintenance is 2000, she would ideally have another 2 meals a day though to satiate the hunger, but that would take us to about 3000 calories, which would just incur weight gain.

Forgot to mention above that she is currently counting paces a day, aiming for at least 10,000, in addition to training. Also started her on apple cider vingegar today to try and suppress the hunger. Will keep you updated on effect. Any ideas how to make her full in the first place? That seems to be the biggest problem atm, that even after a typical meal of 400g chili and 350g greens she doesnt feel full. She can’t really just ignore the hunger atm as she is currently doing her finals at uni and can’t concentrate if hungry.

Thanks, Robbie, for the tip about psyllium, we will give that a go.

if you really want to give it a try, be prepared that your acne probably gets worse before its gets better so maybe start with accutane before you start your cycle.
do bloodwork, use NAC and/or TUDCA with it, stay hydrated and take care of your joints. Using deca might help with occurring joint pain.

thats true but its still a steroid so your body will stop your own production sooner or later.
If you did a full blown 6-8 week cycle, i would do a pct.
i think the term “mild” is mostly used because it has less impact on the liver in comparison to other orals and because its mostly anabolic and low androgenic (322-630:24).

almost a year ago i came across a medical study (i can link the reference if you want me to) about anavar and hpta suppression.

the study involved 6 young male subjects. after only 5 days of anavar administration (at only 15mg daily), their test levels dropped by day 5 from 449ng/dl to 282ng/dl – a 37% reduction of test in just 5 days.
thats a huge drop after such a small period of time at a dose that isn’t even considered a bodybuilding dose.

So no matter what, i would do a pct.

a friend of mine used 20 mg e3d for a while and he said his skin got better without experiencing a lot of side effects but he only took it for a couple of weeks. even a small dose will increases your triglycerides, total cholesterol, liver transaminase levels and will dry out your joints. do you want to use it in offseason or contest prep?

i think you mean a stress fracture!?
if yes… is it just a guess or have you had an x-ray, ct scan, MRI?
have you talked to your gp about this?

im always pacing up and down (except after squats or heavy leg presses) while im resting between sets to keep my intensity as high as possible. if i sit around, my intensity is gone and this affects my workout quality quite significantly. If you have problems sticking to your rest time, an interval timer (or a watch) can help. I still would recommend, going by feel on the big compound moves just because a set of squats or deadlifts will exhaust you more than a set of biceps curls or lateral raises. If you need (for example) 3 min break instead of your regular 2 min, than better go for the 3 min instead. There is no point in rushing your set if you want to get 100% out of it.

i have the same problem every single time i go off but as corinne already said, its caused by hormonal fluctuations.
for this period of time i treat it like regular acne so: i try to shower 2-3x/day, i change your bed sheets and towels every couple of days, im using zinc (at least 2x 30 mg/ day), im going to the solarium 2x/ week for 8-12 min. and im cleaning my skin with diluted apple cider vinegar before bed. if you get really big spots, you could use a benzoyl peroxide cream for them.

March 13, 2017 at 8:17 am in reply to: Low cortisol/ adrenal disorder with trenbolone

    Hey
I would rather cut out the tren than supplementing hydrocortisone.
hydrocortisone supplementation to treat adrenal fatigue can cause side effects like: glaucoma, which can lead to blindness, weight gain and water retention. immune suppression, cardiovascular disease / hypertension, diabetes and/or insomnia. (Hydrocortisone treatment doesn’t cause these side effects at physiological doses, only at excessive pharmaceutical doses but how does one define phhysiological? maybe what is physiological for one person is an overdose for another).

one thing you could try is to raising thyroid levels slowly to help with your adrenal fatigue. thyroid and corticosteroid binding globulin (CBG) have an inverse relationship. as thyroid levels come up, CBG goes down, leaving more cortisol free. so raising thyroid can naturally raise cortisol levels but any increases must be done slowly– weekly thyroid increases are too much too soon and do not give the body time to adjust. some people are so sensitive that they can only raise 1/4 grain of desiccated thyroid or 12.5 mcg of T4 every 12 weeks.if someone has poor T4 to T3 conversion, then taking smaller amounts of T3 throughout the day (including bedtime), instead of once a day, will also give all organs, including the adrenals, a more steady supply of energy to perform their function.

If too much peanut butter causes you digestive problems, just add in other sources of healthy fats like avocado, olive oil or any oily fish (like salmon or sardines).
As long as you consume enough healthy fats to support your natural hormone production (if you rely on it) and to keep your body healthy you should be good to go.

March 2, 2017 at 9:04 am in reply to: Mini Diet

I finished my mini diet today so here is what happened.

Im very happy with the results. I lost 7 kg over the last 11 days.
I dropped a lot of fat around my waist and lower back.
My strength did not drop but i felt really tired all the time.

Before i started my mini-diet i consumed 4700 cal (467p/462c/110f) on training days and ~ 4100 cal (459p/181c/177f) on off days.
I weighed 87.7 kg (~17% bf) and trained 5x/week but did not do any cardio.

For the mini diet i reduced my food to 2010 cal (360p/30c/50f) on training days and 2025 cal (360p/0c/65f)
on off days both split into 6 small meals. I consumed my carbs only pre or post workout.
I added in 20 min LISS ed (~ 200 cal burned) and tried to stay as active as possible throughout the days.
After 6 days i had 1 refeed meal (sushi) post leg workout.

    Supplementation:
I used ephedrin with caffeine and aspirin (20mg e/150mg c/100mg a) twice a day (1-1-0) and started at 20 mcg clen a day
and worked my way up to 60 mcg.

Now i will slowly add carbs back in (peri workout) and cut out all the cardio and drugs to find my new maintenance calories.
I actually enjoyed this style of diet because i was really looking forward to every single meal and foodprep
    was so easy and effortless.

if you have any questions please ask.
    cheers
