I always stick with My Protein or Bulk Powders. Cheap and effective. Feel like a lot of the other brands you pay for the name and the flavouring.

If it’s hurting that much then yes rest it. You can still train other body parts though?
See a good physio/chiro/oesteo for a proper assessment

Ahh I’ve been absent on the forums and missed so much! Been watching you guys on insta though!
Just been too damn busy to spend time digging through the forums and videos haha

Just caught on up on your log 🙂

Wish I could get to one of your seminars, or the opportunity to train with you both, but too far, out of my current budget and I travel a lot for work so can’t get the time. Bollocks! Hopefully get to catch the whole gang at Bodypower though, made sure I’ve got that all booked off!

DOMS…. whenever I add bands in to a leg press variety, this always sucks big time. But the main on for me in my normal routine is deadlifts if I dig deep and properly fail. Fuck my back is in bits the next day or three….

Mary Poppins – I saw this over Christmas with my mum, I loved it! Thought it was fantastic, sure the original is always going to be the one but this one definitely did it justice, some nice little throwbacks and references and of course… Emily Blunt. 😉

He joined Overdrive Nutrition to develop own Preworkout and other sups. With the JP line of supplements coming out there was a business conflict of interest.

Any straps will be fine if you wrap them properly. The better ones are of course stronger and often more comfortable.
There are also others with extra grip on the straps which is handy.

I’ve used cheap and midrange ones, to be honest, none of them are that expensive.

My very first pair of straps cost me a fiver and they’re actually still going strong, the only reason I stopped using them is because I’ve never washed them… they started smelling stronger than they performed haha

Current pair I bagged for 59p from Amazon as I had a discount voucher for them, they’re surprisingly good!

Well aside from Corinne who could put together a great plan for you I’m sure! She is a world class powerlifter as well as bodybuilder and there is a lot of crossover from Powerlifting exercises and routines to Strongman, you could check out either Laurance Shahlaei or Terry Hollands, both have programs available and both nice guys, you could message them on insta first if interested 🙂

    Work on ankle mobility 🙂

If you want a cheap alternative to the fancy shoes, buy a yoga wedge! Works just as well as your expensive squat shoes 🙂

Saying that, there are some cheap squat shoes available, but they look shit, I picked up some More Mile shoes from eBay, they do the job nicely but I stopped using them now because I couldn’t be arsed carrying them around and they really do look terrible. Also my mobility improved dramatically which is nice!

Otomix – Santa was kind to me, be kind to yourself, go get some. Not only do they look the bollocks they are possibly the comfiest shoes I have ever worn and are fantastic for all exercises so far I’ve found!

    Good advise above.

It comes down to the practitioner really. I’ve had back issues for years following an accident and my lower back is a mess. I’m back to deadlifting last year though with minimal pain thanks to help from various people.

I have regular(ish) sports therapy massages to keep everything limber.

Tried acupuncture – first session great, remaining 6 or 7 sessions were shite and no help at all!

A physio friend of mine who is very progressive in his thinking and knew my goals helped me massively when it was really bad with a well planned and thought out rehab regime based off a 1 to 1 assessment, this helped me immensely – it was a lot of mobility work, single leg and glute work. Apparently I had a lazy glute and was literally half assing everything causing further problems to my back. Was a bit of a circle as the lazy glute was caused by initial back injury!

Following all that I saw (with some apprehension I might add!) a chiropractor, having had previous bad experience with one. This guy could not have been more different and didn’t agree with the whole cracking people like mad treatment, he only “cracked” me once or twice, the rest was soft tissue manipulation and stretching but the main thing he did was change how I was thinking about and managing my pain and getting me to “trust” my back again. Seems a bit vague but very hard to explain – really helped though!

So basically, you’re likely going to have to spend a few quid and shop about as it were, find someone that works for you and understands your activity levels and goals!

Every time I see something of you Corinne you just get better and better!
Saw one of your last vids, you want 2lbs more stage weight and 1lb more conditioning. I bet you’ll manage even more knowing you!

On another note, I’ve seen the seminars yourself and Jordan will be doing, closest so far being MJ’s gym, extremely tempted but a 5 hour round trip minimum! I heard rumours you might be holding one at Kings gym – are you able to confirm? If so I will hold off buying tickets for MJ’s and head to Kings instead!:)

I have the same problem but it’s mine is down to now being able to train it properly for around 2 years where I tore my shoulder then had surgery.

Starting to develop a bit more now.

Just got to focus on incline movements more at the start of your push/chest sessions, really work on mind muscle connection and contracting the chest rather than using delts.
    Incline DB/BB/Smith press.
    Incline DB flies
    Incline cable cuff flies

Neutral head/neck. Should all be in line with spine. Not looking up or down.

Off season BG will be higher, you’re in a surplus and more carbs. You want it a bit lower but don’t panic too much.
Brisk cardio session and plenty of water to hydrate.

GDAs haven’t really been proven to help that much tbh. What’s your diet like? Too much cake and other treats?
