Pay for egg whites and chicken breast XD Don’t think I’ve seen these on your insta 😉 lol

Speaking of egg whites, I find I mostly can’t be arsed with separating them or I find the cartons of egg whites too overpriced. Is it really worth switching from whole eggs to just whites? (the yolk is the best part!) I don’t actually eat that many as it is, could get through a carton of 15 in a week, I know some bodybuilders will do that in a day but I prefer other sources too so not too worried about the fat and cholesterol. I might be wrong though :S

    Hi French,
Sorry to jump in but that has definitely been covered in some of their videos. I remember JP mentioned that he would his female clients to focus more on incline movements rather than flat to bring out the definition around the clavicle. He says something along the lines of, a female has never lost a show due to lack of definition in the pec but will lose if there is no definition around the clavicle and delts. Something along those lines, I’m paraphrasing somewhat. I’m sure Corinne will correct me!

Can’t imagine them having any reason not to do other exercises, I see Corinne doing pretty much everything JP does! Why would they not?

Basically, yes he does feeler sets. Will warm up properly for main lifts then do feeler/”warm up” sets for other lifts.

Patrick, even someone who is very overweight shouldn’t be dropping to a 1000 calorie daily deficit immediately. Even at a moderate deficit, if they are very overweight, they will likely loose more to start with anyway (as they have far more to lose!) and it will taper down to a moderate and sustainable level of around 1-2lbs a week.
People get too caught up and frustrated by the numbers on the scales. A good example of this is a female friend of mine has fought her weight for years and keeps going on this daft Cambridge shake diet. She posted up she’d lost 10lbs in 2 weeks…. she wasn’t even THAT fat to begin with. She’s done this before and every time she “finishes” a plan she rebounds hard and puts a load back on. Granted she is down from when she first started but she’s been up and down so much for years and has had various health complications, especially hormonal, because of this.

Some of the top guys like Sas will drop cals significantly but he has specific reasons for doing so, is prepping for a show and knows his body extremely well. For your average joe it’s really not advisable, cravings would be horrendous and they wouldn’t have the nutritional knowledge to make better decisions and stay satiated.

I think you might be overcomplicating it. As far as I’m aware, MPS doesn’t just switch on and off and I’m sure that if you go over or under the 2 hour window a bit it’s not going to completely kill your gains.
Just eat an hour (ish) before, train – drink your intra throughout, have your post (everyone here seems to love cereal, including me!) then eat a proper meal within that window.

Someone like JP or DrDean will be able to explain MPS a lot more indepth though but I really don’t think it needs to be complicated.

Michael there’s loads of posts about splits bud. Use the search function. There’s also some stuff in the articles and videos sections. If you go through them you’ll be able to develop a split no problem, it’s what I did ????

Sounds awesome mate, glad it’s getting easier at that weight! Guess it’s having that mindset to actually move your ass a bit to force yourself to adapt!

Is that gym where Big Loz trains? I know he’s from that area. You’re going from one Strongman legend to another? Lol

They’re a bit tricky but just place them right and you can just about do it on your own. Or just ask anyone in the gym to help you out for a minute, I’m sure they won’t mind 🙂
