There’s a number of bugs and issues atm I think. A few times I’ve lost a post and given up as it throws up an error.

Buy cheap, buy twice! 😉 Either that or you’ve just got a powerful ass brother! haha
Can recommend Next’s A-Front boxers. Nice and comfortable, make my balls look good and they’re a bit stretchy. No issues with splitting yet!

Jesse, thanks for the informative response. Apologies for the delay replying, I’m not usually on the forum over the weekends, I much prefer to slack off at work to peruse and reply 😉 haha

I think in time, perhaps not that long, I will be in a very similar situation to yourself with regards to pain management and how it dictates my training so it is good to get an insight in to how you manage it.
What do you do in terms of rehab/pain management? The usual ice packs, hot baths, massage etc? Any other tips or tricks to share?

Agree that mass isn’t always the way forward, although I know plenty on here would disagree and want to be fucking huge, each to their own I say, I’m not entirely sure where I want to be, perhaps just a bit bigger but definitely a lot leaner and stronger. I have enough problems with my back (disc degeneration) without the problems too much mass would cause I think :S

Look forward to further log updates!

Got to admit, I’m impressed that you’re still smashing workouts like that out at 55 years old! That’s pretty much my goal in life, to be the old boy (not that you’re old.. yet! 😉 ) and people going, damn look at that old fella doing pullups!

That is some serious volume though, how do you find you handle it?

Also you mentioned injuries and arthritis, (I’ve plenty of the first!) how do you find training around these? Deal with them alright? What sort of injuries are we talking?

    Cheers
    -John.

The old man used to read Roger’s Profanasaurus and the genital region words were always a favourite haha

90-120mins. I think I could cut it down but I spent too much time unfocused, something I aim to work on this year.

Hit narrow grip DB floor press for triceps. Sometimes they feel perfect and great activation, others way too much chest. Can’t seem to quite get it right for tris.
Do like floor presses for chest though, as jdh states, good for those with iffy shoulders, my shoulder is very iffy so when it plays up too much I switch to floor presses 🙂

No one seems to have mentioned Neutrophils being below normal? This could be innocuous and down to your medication, or it could be indicative of a different cause. Worth going to your GP with the results and getting them checked out “officially” as it were.

LFTs are out too, could just be down to exercising hard or again medication. Do you drink much?

I’m no expert by the way, there’s guys here with WAY more knowledge than me, I have some haematology background working with some rather nasty ailments hence my concern, it may be misplaced though so just get see your doctor to be sure and cover all bases 🙂

No experience at all I’m afraid but curiosity got me on Google and lead me to LiveStrong, a website I’ve picked info up on before. Got 3 exercises on it that might help?

    https://www.livestrong.com/article/425267-physical-therapy-protocol-for-diastasis-recti/

I’d go back to your GP and push (no pun intended) for something to be done. Lay it on thick, causing you pain, significant mental anxiety and stress regarding it, extremely self conscious, don’t want to leave the house etc.

If you’re going to cheat, save the meal until after a big session, legs for example. You’ll feel like you earned it then rather than regret it and likely won’t feel shit the next day!
