In my offseason I don’t track them but they stay consistent anyway. In a prep I do ๐Ÿ™‚

If you do one rep more or 2 at the gym everyday, the total volume at the end of the week will be different, as per the one at the end of the year.

    Sauces are the same.

If you wanna be exceptional; you need to track every single detail, reps and sauces ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you can choose your diet, track sauces individually and weight them.

If you can’t choose your diet, don’t eat sauce unless the coach put it into the plan

    Got it๐Ÿ˜…

Yes I keep them the same every day also

It contains calories so should be tracked

    Alright, thank you Nathaniel

Only on prep. I would just keep the weights the same each time. Ketchup and mustard are lower on cals than most sauces.

    Thank you Ryan

i use the same amount in the same pattern per meal and always the same sauce but I never tracked them. I simply pull them once I am 4-5 weeks out from a show

    I see, cheers Hilly

Hello mate, I don’t eat sauces since 10 years lol

But if I had to into my plan; I would have weighted them for sure, you don’t have no idea of what you do otherwise, mayo is super fat, ketchup is mainly carbs, don’t guess work

    Thank’s Allison

I would still weigh out the sauces to keep things consistent. If you have the same amount every single day, it’s up to you whether you calculate that into your macro allowance or just keep them as additional staples.

    Alright thank you Clare

Yes I keep it same every day

    No guess work then

    No fluctuations

    No random variables

It all has calories so weigh it

You wouldn’t randomly add more rice

    Understood mate

Hi Florian, i rarely use sauces to be honest but when i do I don’t track them no. I use a fairly small amount. I think if you can consistently portion control your sauces and be reasonable with them you probably don’t need to track them. However there’s nothing wrong with tracking them if you’d prefer.

I got an Apple Watch Series 10, works perfect, also for tracking your HR during Cardio for example. Also get the benefits of a smartwatch, notifications, quick responds, many many more. Only downside you have to charge daily.

I sip my carbs during my workout but have my eaas pre training in one go

I also do this. Get the EAA in just as your about to train.

Then sip the carbs while your training to maintaining BG levels [/quote]
    Okay thank you Hilly

Carbohydrates drank through the session EAA’s in one go half way through if it’s around 2-2.5 hours after your last protein serving and about 90 mins to 2 hours before your next.

Is it going to matter that much? Probably not. So I wouldn’t stress too much do whatever sits well with you bud.

    Alright thanks Nath

I would sip your carbs throughout, but take your EAAs separately in one go, at a point during your session that would be midway between your pre and post meals. This gives you an extra protein feeding and mps spike between meals.

    Thank you Clare
