Just whatever feels best for you really. I personally like a whole food meal 90 min pre training and fully digested, than have an intra with carbs and EAA’s that I start sipping as I’m warming up

    Thanks Michaela

    Hi mate

There’s going to be an amount of individuality here in how you feel, but for me that would be 90-120mins – remember you’re getting another MPS spike part way through the session.

If finance allows, I’d consider switching you EAA for MPS Max, if it doesn’t, no stress 💪🏻

    Thanks Rich💪🏻

I would normally say 90 minutes for most but as with most things experiment and find out were you feel best.

I have slow gastric transit so generally get on better with 90 minutes plus but have some clients that feel better eating 60-75 minutes pre gym

    Thanks Hilly 🙂

I agree with the comments about with pre workout meal waiting around 60-90mins. But this is person dependent and also based on how much volume is in your meals and how well the food digests. Cream of rice is easy digesting, so if you made this with minimal water then this will also aid digestion. I hope this helps!

Anywhere between 1 hour to and hour and a half. Depends how quick you digest & how much you’re eating

    Thanks Kamara 🙂

I normally have my meal around 90 mins prior to training just purely because it’s what feels most comfortable for me. If you can digest your meal well , you could probably do anywhere between 60-80 mins 🙂

    Thanks Sara😇

    Hello mate

If everything is good, then everything is good !!

Just one key point I would add: growth season and off season is the best moment to add variety to the diet

So I would allow myself a little more funnyness sexyness and more variety

    I would personnally add :

Potatoes, cheese low fat, different veggies, eggs, bread 🫠

Avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, brazil nuts

    If digestion allows it.

What you do is 100% correct though, but I would enjoy that time to have more variation for a microbiote standpoint and mental state point

It’s all personal preference and digestive topic

You can keep everything the same 😇

Cheers Allison will try out different food sources😇

100% agree with the guys above 60-90 mins is usually plenty of time for that meal to digest. If you still feel this is sitting a little heavy with that time frame, maybe reduce you COR a touch add more dates or some organic honey to make up the carbs that will allow less volume in the meal.
But as long as you feel ready to go you are fine mate

    Cheers nathan, will do so🤝🏻

Hey buddy, if your pre workout ritual takes around 20/25 mins I would start 60 mins after you finish your meal. It’s fairly easily digestible food so shouldn’t take too long. Obviously adjust according to your body’s response to this.

    Thanks Louis, will do so

It’s very person dependant, so see what feels best for you. Generally most people will be able to train around 60-90 minutes after eating, providing that meal digests well. I would personally remove the dates from that meal to reduce the fibre content.

Alright, cheers Clare will shift dates to the post workout meal

    Hello mate

I would usually say 60min to 90min also

    But that person dependent imo

I train 40min after pre workout and belly is already empty

Just got 50cor 35 iso 8ab 5mct oil so that’s super easy to digest

With cor you shouldn’t have any issue though

Test different things and settle your conclusions

Post workout I like to wait also a tad longer

1h post workout and everything seems fine

    Alright, thanks Allison

I’d say anywhere between 60-90 mins – and can vary more or less depending on the individual and how things sit and digest for you! What are you currently doing and how does it feel in your sessions?

Thanks Rhea, sometimes i feel too full when i start my warmup work after 60 mins

    Dear Florian,

    I’d suggest waiting 60–90 minutes.

Personally, I would wait around 90 minutes. However, if you feel good and think you might be able to shorten the wait, reduce it by 10 minutes and try 80 minutes instead. If you still feel the same, decrease it by another 10 minutes and observe how your body responds during training.

You should notice a difference if your food isn’t fully digested, as this can cause stomach discomfort. This happens because your body struggles to digest and train simultaneously due to the opposing functions of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

By following this approach, you can find the optimal meal timing that works best for you.

Couldn’t agree more here! If everything digest well for you, training feels good and recovery is on point then run it as it’s working for you

    Thank you Rhea!
