For me I always prefer high test, I suffer no sides at all even when it’s at 1g.
Everything is your own personal preference, if you feel it has a negative on your physique on higher test then you have answered your own question.

Really good session doing Hams/Adductors/Back top up last night. I just went to the local gym so i didn’t have to travel as it was a late session.
The session was:
10min Treadmil – warm up
Lying hams 3 x 12
Adductors 1 x RP 12,5,3
Hammer pulldown 1 x 12, 1 x 10
Close grip machine pulldown 1 x 10, 1 x 12
Chest supported row 1 x 8
DB curl 2 x 12
This session for me is not too taxing CNS wise so that it doesn’t detract from my full back workout. i utilise it so it tops up the workload for the week whilst i still decide on a split.
A couple of tweaks to diet from check in at the weekend so my current macros are:
TD: 336g Pro, 623 Carb, 64g Fat – 4475 Cals
NTD: 326 Pro, 469g Carb, 86g Fat – 4000 Cals
Class bud how does your current cycle look ?
How far out from show are you ?
What’s the actual diet
Hello mate! Thank you 🙂
i was 13 weeks out from Ben Weider (last weekend) but i decided not to do it as i was really unwell with covid over xmas and i feel my rear lacks massively to be competitive with the top guys atm. So the plan is to lay down some tissue with a focus on doing the British again depending on how progress goes.
Current cycle is 750mg Test, 600mg eq.
I will probably swap out the eq as i am not really liking it very much. Test i handle very well and don’t get any sides from so i like this on the higher end usually.
TD Diet
Meal 1 – 125g oats, 40g whey, 30 PB, 1 banana
Meal 2 – 500g white potato, 150g chicken
Meal 3 – 100g jasmine rice, 150g mince beef 5%
PreWo – 100g jasmine rice, 150g chicken, 100g pineapple (will alternate with COR depending on appetite)
Intra – 50g carbs
Meal 5 – 170g cocopops, 50g whey (changed this weekend from chicken and rice)
Meal 6 – 125g pasta, 150g mince beef 5%
NTD Diet
Meal 1 – 100g oats, 30g whey, 30 PB, 1 banana
Meal 2 – 100g jasmine rice, 170g chicken
Meal 3 – 100g jasmine rice, 170g mince beef 5%
Meal 4 – 500g white potato, 170g chicken
Meal 5 – 100g jasmine rice, 170g mince beef 5%
Meal 6 – 125g oats, 30g whey, 30g PB

253lbs this morning so weight on the move back up after being ill
It’s Busy week/weekend getting back into work ect, started to feel somewhat normal on Friday for the first time thank god!
Managed to get 3 decent sessions in but was also mindful of recovery so didn’t push too hard.
Diet has been adjusted now we are on the push back up so I’ll update the Marcos for that on here tomorrow

1st day back at work today and also 1st day back studying at Uni after a 6 month break waiting for my next module to start.
It’s going to be another busy year with work, Uni, and my engineering business (need to push my own business more so I can eventually work for myself but I just struggle to find the time with everything else and BB.
One of myGoals for this year is to plan my time better, spend less time doing pointless stuff like scrolling social media or playing Warzone on an evening.
Really looking forward to getting back into routine as I hate being out of sync when I am off work.
No gym for me tonight so I plan on just eating up as much as possible and making headway with work bits.

This year i need to be selfish in terms of choosing my own training split and exercise selection if i want to progress rather than just following my training partners split. Even if it means I’ll be back training on my own. i am content with this decision if it means i can make the necessary progress.
I am 33 this year so although the miles on the clock is low and I’ve been very minimal on everything the time limit where i need to make a mark is getting closer and i can’t keep spinning my wheels like i have been since 2018 so this year progress NEEDS to be made.
Trained yesterday for the first time, nothing strenuous or heavy at all. just moved a little blood around with no set reps ect.
Pec dec
Banded machine press
Decline press
DB hex press
I was sweating like mad which is rare for me so i know i am not back to full fitness yet and can definitely feel i am down a lot in weight.

Happy new year!! 2022 lets see what you have in store for us.
Finally a day where i feel kind of normal.. joints are still v sore and have a cold but the worst part of Covid has definitely dropped off thank god as that was horrendous.
Another day or so and I think I will be able to be able to train so i am going to get some decent food in and get well hydrated. First sessions back i will just ease into it and ensure my recovery is ok then i can get cracking at putting some tissue back on which i am very excited about.
I hope everyone had a great new years eve!e
Hello Adam , focus on recovery. Make sure you are fully recovered.
Training and the gym are there. They ain’t going nowhere.
Once you feel decent just go back at 50% volume . Feeling things then push volunteers up gradually as you get toward ls 100%
Hi Oscar!
i will most definitely make sure i don’t push too hard and ease back in. It has been a tough 10 days so i am itching to train but know i need to make sure I’m fully recovered.
I hope you had a great Christmas and new year?

Let’s call this day (1) of the new plan.
Spoke to my coach last night and we’ve decided to solely focus on the British and not bother doing the Ben weider.
Timed about right because I’ve now caught covid.
Soon as I’m able to get back training I can focus on putting some tissue on.

96 Days..
Well what a rubbish xmas this has turned out to be, sickness bug for a few days, no I have the flu and my wife has tested positive for covid.
We both had PCR yesterday but mine back back inconclusive. I’ve tested negative twice on lateral flow though. We haven’t been vaxed so looks like it’s 10 days isolation for us ?
Either way, spoke to my coach about not doing the Ben weider, I don’t feel like I’ve progressed enough and will only look the same which is not what I wanted at all. I want to see a big difference in development ontop of that I start back at uni in Jan with exam in March so work, full time uni, kids and prep is going to be hard.
I did it this year but my job was better suited and allowed me to but since moving job seniority level is much greater.
Will have a call with him tonight and discuss plans.
I’m in the prep mindset now and everything is nailed so can utilise tat to rebound back up.
Long Brain dump there

98 days.
Feeling much better today after a couple of iffy days. Barely eaten or drank anything since thurs/Friday.
Will see today out and try get back on diet tomorrow. No doubt I’ve lost a fair bit of weight but will come back after couple of days on plan.
Will utilise this week as a deload load and just train locally for the sessions as my eldest daughters are coming tomorrow for the week.
