Both is very doable – over the last four years i boxed in my offseason and fought in unlicensed shows.. over time you will favour one over the other and your training will become more specific for which ever goal you have.. enjoying the training esp at your age is very important.

But for now, doing both is no issue at all.

Really getting into the grove with training and enjoying the exercise selections. Last night was hams with a touch of back, not too much volume but it was brutal.

Hitting hams twice a week should see some significant improvement if it remains consistent.

    Session was:

    Rope pullover – warm up

    Single Arm D handle row – x12, x12 + drop 8

    Adductors – x15, x12

    Seated Ham – x20, x20, x8 + 10 partial + 10 sec Iso hold

    RDL – x10

    Standing Ham – x12, x12

    Calves – x4 sets 15

    My training set up is:

    Mon – OFF

    Tue – OFF

    Wed – BACK/HAMS

    Thu – OFF

    Fri – PULL

    Sat – PUSH

    Sun – LEGS

Rest day yesterday so not much to report.

Been craving a bath for agessss (yes i do shower, i am not an animal) so thought fk it.. lets push boat out and get it done.. Why does the idea of a bath seem so much better than actually having it?

In hindsight probs better suited going outside sitting in a puddle than trying to squeeze every orifice into it. Safe to say, i was missing nothing and my craving soon fked off haha.

On plus side, wife bought new bubble bath so at least i smelt nice πŸ™‚

Woke up heaviest i have ever been this morning, lets keep the ball rolling and really cement this tissue.

    In for back/hams tonight.

Glad to see you are feeling better and wise call on the prep – Prep is never easy esp when family issues arise.

Few months hammering away and some good progress will be made i am sure.

    Looking forward to seeing it!

Bloods came back in a good spot so i am happy with this and can get cracking on offseason. As i have mentioned before i am very happy with the progress i have made in this phase. Going from 100kg stage weight to now sitting at 120kg with visible abs and back detail which is where i hold most of my fat, on 300mg Test a week (sometimes less as i’d often go 1 or 2 weeks without)

Start of my offseason cycle will be 450mg Test 600mg Primo – i have never used primo mainly due to the cost and legitimacy but will give it a run and see. I am heading to turkey in 4 weeks so may have to grab some there πŸ™‚

Food has now been pushed up:

    TD – 390g Pro, 840g Carb, 110g Fat.

My current split atm due to work is:

    Mon – Off

    Tues – Off

Wed – Back top up, Hams, adductors, calves

    Thu – Off

    Fri – Back & Bi

    Sat – Chest, Delt, tri

    Sun – Legs

This means there is a rest day before each back and ham day which is the most lagging so that everything is refreshed ready to go. Atm my session in the week sees me home about 9:15pm which isn’t ideal but needs must for the moment.

I do want to add in an extra session midweek.. possibly Tuesday but will see if work allows.

Very productive session on hamstrings, adductors and calves last night.

    Adductors – x10, x12

    Seated ham – x20, x15, x8 + 10 partial + 10 second hold (5 sec forced hold)

    Leg press – x10

    Standing Ham – x10, x10, x8 + drop x8

Walking lunges – x12 each leg, x12 each leg

    Standing calves – x10, x10, x10

No back work in yesterdays session as i had hit back Monday due to travelling at weekend which meant i wasn’t able to train it and have back again on Fri.

Bloods taken this morning so should have my results back end of week/possibly Monday which will give a good indication of where things are at.

Rest day yesterday – is a rest day ever actually a rest day? ha.. My sons are out of routine since being away so was sat watching Minions and then buzz lightyear with them until at least 10pm (i say sat, i mean cleaning the house about 10 times from when they get board and started playing (throwing) with toys everywhere)

Managing to get much better sleep since using my cpap and managing to keep it on all night which is helping with my tiredness.

Spent some time watching the stream from the NPC Romania yesterday which got me fired up.

Weight is back up a touch – happy days

Hams and back touch up on the cards tonight

well.. very busy weekend of travelling and seeing my daughters and parents/sisters/cousins ect.. was lovely weather for it too. We had a quick walk to the beach on the sat which was nice before the family BBQ.

I didn’t have the BBQ as i went to the gym as it shut at 4pm so needed to get a training session in as i hadn’t trained fri due to work and travel and i wouldn’t be training Sunday due to travel back late.

Weight dipped a tad over the weekend as expected but will make sure that comes up over these coming days.

Ordered my bloods yesterday so i will get them done this week, will be going on 11 weeks post show. Will be good to start pushing up a little more and get my offseason into full swing.

Couple of busy days – Got a offered a new job in York for an Electronics manufacturing company as their Production Manager with scope to move up to Operations Manager and Director which was an opportunity i couldn’t turn down.

Will be a big challenge and one i am not sure how i will fit around my training/competing so will have to figure out a routine once i am there.. two months notice at my current role so still plenty of time to make some progress.

Woke up this morning 3lbs down on yesterday. I have noticed a trend that my weight always drops around Thu/Fri. Not entirely sure why but will potentially look to bump cals on these days or have a clean cheat to mitigate it.

Heading over to great Yarmouth today until sunday with my wife and kids to see my family – my eldest daughters are going to be there too so i can’t wait to see them.. i have missed them so much.

Going to try and train still and keep on top of food – i hate leaving home and my routine esp as i will be in a hotel but it will be worth it.

Wednesday hamstring focused session was very good. and i trained chest/arms yesterday as i won’t be training today due to work and then travel.

Superrr busy weekend as always and the heat was an absolute killer, I’m definitely looking forward to some colder nights that is for sure!

Had client and friend over for the weekend as he is now 4 weeks out so wanted to see him in person and push him through a couple of sessions to ensure intensity was still there.

Turned out to be some solid sessions!

262lbs this morning and feeling every bit of it.. i have gone from 245 to 262 in just over 5 weeks just from food and training alone as i have been in my health phase 6 weeks now on 300mg test only so i am very fking happy with this especially as body comp isn’t too bad either.

getting food in and having a poor appetite has been my biggest downfall for years but finally starting to nail it now.

    check in from this weekend

We did not start with this out of the gate

This is phases 2 of his push we Started with less but still higher than generally would start as it was needed for tissue retention in an aggressive fat loss phase. Start point was 1800.

We don’t just consider total mg Considering compounds he is using MG for MG this would bring far less harm than your common 750 test 750 eq 500 decca

Compound selection is key not just looking at total MG as mg for mg certain compounds do more damage and are more potent

Let’s not forget studies done on primo on females at 1200 mg weekly for several months with no adverse health effects

Now compare that to your 500 mg eq
    Or even decca

    Huge difference.

Oh i have nothing against it, i’m quite for it, which is why i was questioning the reasoning as last i read (10th June he was cruising going into a clean up) just purely for my own knowledge behind it as it looked like it was straight from one to the other without increasing over time which is what i know a lot of guys do at the moment.

    i appreciate the response!

YO Havent been here for a while HUH ! HELLO BACKStarted tik tok btw – lol – if You guys want to follow – Dejwik92 – some funny videos, some ex. tutiorials and so on

We have finished mini cut phase with Kuba, it took a while, weve cruised aswell meanwhile – so – almost 10 weeks we went down from 129.7 to 115.9 kg

Starting phase 2 of offseason Current kcals are 5314 in training day – 386 protein 787 carbs 67 fats Non training day – 4599 – 338 protein 609 carbs 86 fats

8000 steps no cardio no hiit for now

    Test p – 700 ewPrimo – 1000 ewnpp – 100 ewtren a – 100 ew masteron – 600 ewtelmisartan – 80 amlantus 10iu am training daygh – 3iu am 3iu pre bed Metformin er 500mg 30 min pre bed

that is a fairly decent sized stack (2500mg) considering you were cruising on just 300mg test and 100mg mast. Any particular reason for all of the compounds straight out of the gate of this offseason?

Solid Hamstring session in the books last night, decided to add in 1 exercise for back at the beginning to bump up total work for back as only training 4 times a week at the moment. Potentially will look to make the ham day a back/ham day which will be 2 back/ 3 ham exercises.

    The session was:

    Single arm pulldown – x12, x15, x10+10partial+ 10 sec iso hold

Seated ham curl – x20, x15, x8+10partial+ 15 sec iso hold ( this really fired the hams up!)

    wide stance leg press – x10, x20

    Standing ham curl – x10, x10

walking lunges – x12 each leg, x12 each leg

    Adductors – x15

257lbs this morning after rest day yesterday – was a busy work day, finished work, went home and worked until 9pm and managed to sit down and watch a bit of TV.. Been really into the All or nothing documentaries on the sports teams on Amazon prime.. The NFL ones were really good, although i didn’t understand much of it haha.. Onto Arsenal football club now, its really fascinating on what goes on behind the scenes in developing the sqaud from physio/coaching/doctors ect.

I grew up with Theo Walcott who’s also my brothers best mate so i went to watch a fair few Arsenal games in the box back in the day, so it brought back some good memories.

I don’t actually follow another sport so its made me want to get a little more invested in it, especially for my children as its something we can do together.

Rest day again today so other than work, and work again not much else going on, just ticking each box day by day.
