I very much doubt you hit a nerve. You’ve never injected delts before, that’s why you got a dead arm, it’s normal and after a few injections you will get used to and you won’t get a dead/numb arm from the injections. Also I wouldn’t recommend 2ml of oil into the delts for first time, start with 1ml and build up as you get used to it.
