And you do 1 rotation with half the volume for a devolume? What did it take for you to increase your fitness? I genuinely get gassed at higher junk weights where I have to decrease my rep ranges but sometimes it genuinely affects my progress. Where I could squat 315 for 20 i’m falling short around 14-15 because i’m so gassed.

As hilly said intermitted fasting or just fasting for a certain amount of time in the day will probably serve you very well. Also helped me a lot in the past if apetite was shit or digestion intrigued.

yeah food is starting to smell good again. I’m going on 20 hours fasted, may continue on til tomorrow if I can hack it.

for me, reintroducing more veggies, omnibiotic stress repair vor about 3 weeks does the trick.
And dont force food ! Try to eat the first week as much as you like (your stomach tells you when to eat)
I was able within 1 month to get heavier, fix my digestion and keep progressing lifts. Its all about the veggies :))

yes… this has been key for me as well. i do notice improved digestion with more greens and veggies.

you have to understand when i’ve been force fed (no pun intended) literature stating you must eat this much every 2-3.5 hours or you’ll basically die as a bodybuilder, it’s hard not to force food out of habit. food is a huge factor in me mentally getting stronger on my lifts as well, it really seems to drive up strength, i think i just got myself in a pit missing a couple days of training and still eating regular amounts of food those days. my last two training sessions were very very solid and should make me quite hungry today.

i’m gonna continue fasting and see where it takes me today

hi! first congratulations for hitting your personal maximum weight with better condition.
what worked out well with quite the same problem digestion whise in case of eric wildberger (overall arnolds ohio mens physique amateur champ) was a fasting period of 48 yours, that sounds really strange and is a solution people in other sports quite often do. My freind richard uses that “fasting tool” very often with his ufc fighters. also in erics case the problems with his digestion were solved. maybe its also worth a try for you!

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for chiming in. This sounds intriguing and not really strange at all. How would I go about training around the fast? Still as normal without expectancy of optimum performance? or plan it for a day where I will have rest day etc. What about coming out of it? resume meal plan as normal?

    Right on

So I will do 50p/50c/15f for 5 meals with a PWO of 60c/30p on training days.

Off days I will nix the PWO feeding, and fast til noon, and save the bulk of my carbs for final meal essentially.

    Any other suggestions welcome lads

Hey bud, Pascal Flor is actually helping me out with this, look him up on insta , lovely chap and knows this set up inside out ????

So the last session I posted

It was 4/3/2/1 on the movements , the shrub was 3/2/2/1 , then rear delt row was 2/2/1/1

So with pascals help, we will drop those numbers over the weeks and increase volume , until I’m at 1/1/1/1/1/1 ? If I can handle six ( fuck that will be hard) but would stay there like a week only , before Deload .

So you’re starting at those RIRs respectively per set with 4 sets per exercise for the most part, and planning to work up to 1 RIR with 6 sets total? Haha that’s a lot of volume.

How do you decide exercises, rep ranges, number of sets? I’m guessing Mike covers this in the podcast

    Hey James ????

do you split you push sessions in one delt and one chest dominant day?

You can read back for his training log to see how he progressed through last offseason. The “how to program push” also goes over this if you’re looking to apply for your own training lad.

i’m currently experimenting with diet on what seems to serve me better as doing pro fat pro carb meals macros tend to be higher. I think nutrient timing has its benefits for everyone but i think it’s more useful for slin and gh guys more so than those not using slin. I’m aiming to go back to pro carb fat at every meal except post training to see how it suits me with a focus on more healthy fats and less inflammation from higher carb meals like cereals and those easily digestible carbs. If digestion becomes problematic when I start to increase food I’ll see if I can adjust fats accordingly but so far my body has been handling carbs better since eating them more consistently. I do also find less carbs day before training sometimes impacts my training. Personal preference.

it’s artic titan stateside lab, their original DHB was apparently awful for pip and they just gave everyone free bottles of the new formulation that had issue with it in the past. their stuff is stellar
