Are excercises done in supersets? Like the HS high row & wide chest press? Volume is totaly up to you. If you can progress troughout the program and sessions volume is ok I guess

Good luck with your journey

no not done in supersets. When back exercise is finished chest exercise will be started
Ok,
But I think program looks good. Try it, and check your logbook. If lifts going up so far so good!
Keep intensity high and deload or switch with excersises when needed

@brosenstom yea I was thinking of phasing the rest pauses and doing straight sets for a little bit then add the rest pauses

Just go with what you feed/like the most. There is no “perfect” setup. Go with what you like the most about training. That way you can stick to it and stay motivated.
You can also do rotations with rest pauses and straight sets. Week 1-2 straight sets , week 3-4 rest pauzes, week 5-6 straight sets, ….. also an option

Yup 9-12 then some sets 12-15, so u use 6-9 on loading sets? Mainly coumpounds? Then like the isolation exercises use the higher reps ranges

Most loading sets are 6-9 and backoff 10-15. Worksets are to absolute failure!
Isolation work is more rest-pauzes for me. But even isolation work you can go heavy on it, as long as you stay locked in with the muscle and don’t “fuck your set” you can use any rep range you want… (personaly everything higher than 6-8)

@brosenstom did u change anything from the original, I was thinking about doing straight sets.

No, didn’t changed anything cause i want to give restpause sets a try. But you can deffinatly change that up to straight sets
6-9;9-12 or what else i’ve got in mind.
Just don’t make i to complicated 🙂

hey james I’ve been training for a little over 2years now and have ran some high volume programs in the past, bought the ebook but it looks a little bit advanced, thoughs?

@Thomas Arnett

Did it myself.

Just try and go with it! Give it your 110% and you will love it and get the low volume high frequentie + high intensity mindset!

It’s not “advanced” just good structured! Give it a go!!

Hey Tom how was your recovery on this split?
@tmoneyarnett02

Good.
If you respect the restdays your fine. Only after 6 -7 weeks when logbook went harder and shits gots heavier I’ve took some deload weeks and after that went again for 4 weeks.
The program Did some great work,
The only thing is that sessions take a longer time than usual but deffinatly worth it!

Just what Theo said! Just keep doing what you’re did before/ what brought you till this point. Maybe lower volume a little bit to safe time for cardio. But keep training intensity SKY HIGH (as high as possible) 4 weeks out is where the mental game comes in to play! Good luck with your prep and shine on that stage bro!!

James,
Just read again your forum and watched your videos.
Why changed from push pull legs to bodypart split? (Chest-triceps, back-biceps,….)
What’s the reason behind the change?
