now this is a question that many if us may approach differently

typcially my approach would be nice the movement actually begins to regress

I don’t mind plateau if stimulus is effective and say the majority of my other movements are in the up
really depends how staple you have found that exercise for your progression physically to this point.

if it yielded you magnificent change for the better to actually would be reluctant to drop

though of the exercise becomes dangerous as in loads are becoming increasingly risky or uncomfortable then I’d It’s a out for an alternative the delivers similar stress with less load

I found myself doing this recently with back squats..

if you go 3 sessions and you feel somewhat negative towards the movement or like it’s kicking your arse it may be tome to switch up

sorry it’s not a specific answer as you kmow there are many variables here but that’s certainly my genral approach personally

JP mentioned before if you can increase your 8 rep max on dips and close grip bench by 20kg over the course of 12 weeks while putting on 12-15 pounds of weight he said he basically guarentees you’ll at least put an inch on your arms

It matters more than you can imagine

Years ago I ran a 6 week experiment while at uni.

I was eating circa 3600-3800kval all from clean food.

I decided to switch my 1pm meal from beef n potato to 2 double cheeseburgers from Mcds but without the cheese.

The macros on paper are petty dam good n fitted into my plan well enough. No change to overall kcal in diet as I adjusted the odd thing.

    I got fatter/softer/held more water.

    You are what you eat

    You are what you digest.

Bare this in mind every time you eat a meal
