Yeah I would imagine fluids to be my saviour during a fast for sure!

Interesting results though.. from a logical point of view it does seem smart to position these during recovery phases as you’ve done, or at least during phases where demands on recovery are fairly low.

Food focus would certainly be my downfall (but luckily never adherence) especially at the moment with calories being very moderate, but I’ll be giving it a shot and will be sure to share my findings if they differ from yours.

Yeah I was going to say – with where food is at body comp is in a great place..

Was this phase coming out the back end of a prep?

That’s cool! Haha I can relate, any pimple & I’m exfoliating the f*ck out of it LOL. The body hair growth is what grinds my gears, I HATE hair.

Great log Ali, think I’ve seen some of your lifts on Cal’s IG story – so I’ll be giving you a follow on there and will keep up with your progress on here for sure!

Your in great hands with Calum that’s for sure, training set up looks awesome.

With this being your first cycle, it would be interested to hear about how you are feeling? Any noticeable differences physically/mentally or even physiologically that you have noticed?

How was hunger during the fast Dr Dean?

I’ve also been tempted on the idea, but yet to take the plunge! Guilty of being so fixated on feeding every 2-3 hours for so long makes me think it would be a battle unless you are a very busy person & can avoid the thought of food.

^^^ Ben – I think this is one for the forum section mate..

But with rice being a low fat carb source & chicken being a low fat protein source, any alternatives to hit these macro’s are all options.

Eat what you can digest & tolerate in large quantities as JP always advises.

Hi Jordan, do I recall you saying you would post your most recent bloodwork on the forums?

    Apologies if I’ve missed it.

A question regarding blood work also – what level of tolerance do you have for areas of your blood panel being out of range before starting a cycle, and do you have any areas specifically that would cause you to extend a cruise and hold back on re-adding drugs?

Only way to definitively determine blood oestradiol would be to get it tested mate.

I wouldn’t advise adding drugs to treat symptoms without knowing the cause, £30 on medichecks and you’ll have your answer in days.

In the past I’ve also suffered with what seems to be oestrogen related sides & have been sensitive to the sides you’ve mentioned when I have used AAS.

So I too pay a lot more attention to it to ensure that I am not simply assuming its high and adding in additional drugs that could lead to unrelated issues for no justified reason.

If you are now post cycle & if it were me in your position – I would simply accept the fact that hormone regulation at present is likely to be a little irregular. Assumingly you are running a PCT, and with the addition of HCG increased oestrogen is to be expected but (IMO) not to the degree where an AI is required – but again, bloods will provide an answer more definitively.

At the end of the day, as exogenous testosterone leaves your system over the coming weeks oestrogen will follow suit & you should notice your sides subsiding.

I’ve often read that once a lump turns ‘hard’ it’s there to stay, but I personally have experiened otherwise once coming off cycle..

I did take nolva as part of a PCT course however cannot definitively say that contributed to it’s eventual dissapearance. So although people may reccomend some fairly ‘last resort’ type methods, you may be lucky in the sense that once hormones are regulated to some degree (if you plan on coming off) then it may clear up completely or atleast reduce in size/appearance.

This is of course what I personally have found.

Composition looking great considering 40lbs up, full as a damn house! And also love the concept of keeping cardio on for the health benefits, I’m sure you’ll reap the rewards not only health wise but performance wise in the gym. Keep up the crazy ass work as I know I speak for many in saying it’s highly motivating!

What’s up James, as per JP’s normal diet set ups are the macros you posted up to exclude trace macros? So only counting protein from direct sources etc? May I add from your IG posts your rebound is on the money thus far!

Jordan you mentioned additional heart checks on top of blood work, would you be able to elaborate?

Then I suppose the next question would be, can you still be in a position to make progress naturally once you have fully recovered HPTA and natural hormone production etc.

Obviously you will not benefit from the super-physiological levels of hormones but would you still have the capacity to build muscle/increase strength once the sudden drop of muscle mass has slowed down post cycle/PCT

From what I can tell your below the normal range, which is to be expected at that stage in a natural prep hence feeling like shite during those last few weeks! Can’t remember exactly what my test was at the end of my first comp prep (natural) but I was told by a doctor that it was pretty damn low lol
