Personally I feel that’s far too much if you were going to failure you’d reach burn out after a few weeks on this split. Rest days are essential, like the others have stated it’s where we grow
Less is more!

Swapping out foods is your friend if you are really struggling. Even if you make yourself a shake with all the macros in that is better than not having anything.

Hey guys,
Rest day today. Erin and I went tot the gym for cardio and we went through her routine. This morning we took a trip to rother valley for a long walk and a coffee 🙂
It’s been such a lovely weekend with her. I am so excited to see her on stage in 5 weeks!

My client and I went to ultra flex derby today and filmed with Alex cooper for my YouTube, was a brilliant session!
We went through her posing too 🙂
Tonight we chilled 🙂

I would look to having 2 leg days to get more variety.
Personally I would look to adding in a leg press, split squat, RDL and a hip thrust.
I would reduce volume to 2 sets only too.

One of my clients has come over to stay with me from Ireland. This afternoon we got cardio done along side steps 🙂 she is currently 6 weeks out from her first ever show.
It’s lovely to have her here!

I woke up early this am had my coffee and chilled outside, I love doing this before anyone else is up! I then went to the gym for cardio and my massage.
This afternoon I did checks ins and had a therapy session too, I’ve been in therapy now for 3 years and it’s been so beneficial in many ways!

I had such a wholesome day, went for coffee with one of my best friends in Sheffield, then we went to the gym. I am trying to find a better balance atm, I’ve neglected doing things outside of work and bodybuilding recently, which I’ve felt, so moving forwards I am going to be doing more before I start prep!
This evening I’ve got back to clients and went for a food shop, which always feels never ending😂

Hey guys,
I trained early this morning after one meal, it’s nice to get it done and dusted sometimes. I had such a good session was on a high after.
Came back smashed out all my work before winding down for the day x

I agree with what everyone has said.
I think there is a fine line between getting yourself fired up and then getting too fired up, I’ve seen people lose control of their emotions before a set and i don’t think it serves them.
Like Kerry said, I remind myself there is someone just as hungry for it and who’s working just as hard so I need to show up for each set.
