    Hey guys,

    Today I’ve done some work and had another massage with someone new. I had shock wave therapy and ultra sound on my hip/quad. Although it’s a lot better and not really effecting training it’s effecting posing. So I am looking forward to my weekly sessions with him.

    Agree with everyone here. Reduce volume. You want to keep training in a good spot through a diet, what built the muscle keeps the muscle.

    I agree with both Marc and Allison here. I don’t train direct weighted abs as I need and want my waist to stay small.

    Hey guys,

    Rest day for me today woke up did cardio. For the rest of the day I did check ins and had a massage 🙂

    I’m taking a deload for the next 5 days, my body needs it! People tend to shy away from them but they are necessary and serve a huge purpose!

    Hey,

    What’s your current training split?

    You could do more of a quad focused leg day but still include a hamstring isolation and then tie hamstrings in with back (posterior session)

    Hey guys,

    Trained with my client Liv today at the tbjp gym, had a look at her physique too and I’m very happy with where we are at. Was lovely to meet her in person.

    After we travelled back home, there was a bit of traffic but wasn’t too bad.

    I had such a lovely time in Cheltenham. Was lovely to be able to see JP and Corrine. I had such a lovely chat with her today and just being able to train around them both was great!

    For anyone new to the gym a full body is great, then from there you can get her into a new split that’s more advanced and something more focussed on her physique goals.

    Initially she needs to get in there and start lifting and gaining confidence. You want a nice and simple split to start, no crazy complicated exercises. 2 working sets per exercise will be enough even 2 x 10-12 for each one then again from there you can start adding in heavier loading sets ie 8-10.

    You have to considered recovery too, if she’s not trained before the likelihood of her getting huge amounts of doms Is high which could impact her ability to train.

    I agree with Jordan here just make sure you don’t over load her with too much volume. If she is new to training you need to be mindful of this. Make sure she focusses on execution over load to begin with 🙂

    I agree with everyone here. To add, make sure you are staying on top of sports massages too, these are so over looked, people tend to have them when they face issues and that’s where they go wrong. Getting them done regularly will help you stay clear of any issues/niggles/injuries.

    Trained at the tbjp gym today and filmed for my YouTube! I did legs with max, we used bits of kit we don’t have access to at ultra and just had some fun!

    Saw JP which was lovely 🙂

    It was the first time I’ve been there since being an athlete and it felt surreal for me. My dream has to always be a TBJP athlete and here I am 🙂

    Back in tomorrow for hams and glutes with a client, she is in prep so will be good to see her in person too!

    Rest day for me today. Cardio, client check ins and packing for my trip down to Cheltenham.

    I am filming for my YouTube at the tbjp gym and training there Wednesday with a client.

    Can’t wait!

    Hey!

    A diet break is normally when someone goes back to maintenance calories and a high day is an influx of calories to drive fullness and drop some inflammation and fatigue.

    In essence they are both designed to do the same job but in two different ways.

    Had a great glutes and hams session today, all lifts were matched or up!

    This afternoon I rang my dad with it being Father’s Day and then chilled at home with Arlo.

    This evening I made mine and maxs last meal before watching the F1

    Hey,

    You will feel tired at times when cutting it’s part of it. If you are still able to progress training then you aren’t in a hole enough to warrant a pull back. Just want to mention that I feel fucked after my sessions and I’m deep into my offseason, it happens when you train hard. Often I have to nap 😂

    I’d look at your sleep too, are you getting quality sleep in?

    Sometimes you’ve got to embrace the suck 🙂

    10/10 effort with not so great tempo, there have been and still are some incredible body builders who train with a fast tempo.
