    Hey guys,

    My sister left this morning then i had a day of check ins, it’s been busy. I tend to feel a bit brain dead after a long day at the laptop 😂

    I’m glad I rested yesterday because I feel loads better today, I can’t wait for session tomorrow!

    I decided not to train today, I’ve been training through this illness the whole time and didn’t want to put myself back at all for next week.

    I chilled with my sister, got a nice walk in and then maxes mum came over this afternoon.

    It’s been such a wholesome weekend 🙂

    I have to agree with Kuba.

    I personally think getting carbs in when pushing food is hard when you are eating whole foods only. This is why you see bodybuilders eat cereal, honey etc.

    Attach your diet and we can always help you!

    I’ve had such a lovely day today, it was Arlos birthday so my sister and I took him for a walk and got him a cake from a dog shop.

    I checked in with Nath this morning, not massively happy with the look but I’ve been ill I guess. This week I’ve had a lot of self doubt which is normal for most athletes from time to time.

    This evening we went to Nando’s, was so so yummy 🙂

    I agree with Hilly here.

    If you are still progressing then I wouldn’t worry, if this is a new split too it’s normal to feel doms initially.

    Hey guys,

    I trained this morning, didn’t go crazy because didn’t feel 100%. This afternoon my sister came over she’s staying with me all weekend, not seen her for over 6 months as she’s been travelling.

    I had my hair done today alongside a new tattoo on my hand, she came to both of those appointments with me which was lovely.

    Hey,

    I take it you are dieting at the moment?

    You could increase yours steps but cardio is generally more intense that’s why a lot of people add it in and i love it when dieting! Having said that I know alot of bodybuilders who don’t do cardio at all in a prep setting.

    What you could do is reduce cardio so it’s more manageable say 30 mins daily then up steps to 15k and monitor your weight from there.

    Hey guys,

    Rest day for me today and I’ve taken it easy, still not 100% but feeling alot better. I went for a walk this morning and then did check ins. This evening I had therapy which i always love and find so beneficial!

    I do 3k in the morning and then the rest from being in the gym, walking around the house and doing my day to day things.

    Hey guys,

    I trained today, I didn’t feel too bad and had a great session, but this evening I’ve lost my taste and smell so I think it’s Covid which is shit.

    I’m on rest day tomorrow.

    I think it is very person dependant and how lean they got. The leaner someone is the harder you can push them initially imo.

    If someone has any binging issues then putting their calories up a fair amount would be a good idea too, to reduce the risk of them loosing complete control.

    Some people can deal with being hungry post show and taking a slower approach others cannot.

    Might need a diet break 1-2 weeks back to maintenance and that might help you.

    Hey guys,

    I’m feeling worse today, I went to the gym and i shouldn’t have, need to practice what I preach. Supposed to be on quads and glutes tomorrow but won’t go if I’m not feeling better.

    I’ve got all my meals in though it’s not affected my appetite at all.
