To understand your thought process. You go for one set which is either muscle rounds or rest pause which are your sets to progressive overload the muscle and second set is a pump set. You apply this to 2 exercises of side delt, 2-3 times per week?

That’s similar to what i do. I used to be the guy who trained with high volume with supersets dropsets for side delts, but I did not gain round shoulders. So i changed to JP’s way of training. I saw improvement in my whole body, delts have improved as well but still lagging imo. That’s why I ask the question

So you do not advocate low volume high frequency for side delts?

Thanks both for your answers. I have 3 exercise rotations for side delts: db side laterals, cable side laterals and machine side laterals. As I said I do one 1 set 8-10 and 1 set 12-15. I also warm up with lightweight for 2 sets 10-15reps. I am thinking in applyin muscle rounds for side delt, do you have any suggestion on how to structure it on my upper body session? Upper bod is divided into heavy pull light push and vice versa for 2-3 times per week. Is it better to apply muscle rounds on heavy push as the main goal is to progress with weight over time?

HI JP, I hope you are back at the gym strong ready for new PBs. Looking at your shoulder/arms workout, it seems that you performed 3 working sets for some exercises. What is the thought process behind this decision?

Thanks JP, is it better to apply it in heavy or light days? Currently following upper/lower split

i am a bit confused. Is it acceptable to drink water before blood tests? I believe by drinking the regular amount of water I drink each morning I would have different results.

Current weight is 90kg and i take 200g of protein. I assume to be 15% bodyfat. Previous day I trained.

urea was 53 with upper value 50
creatinine 1.28 with 1.20 top range.

    thanks

to be honest with you I use it just for convenience. One time with breakfast with oats and next pwo with me cereals. I can rotate it but I refuse just for time limit. But I ll think about it.

    Hi JP,

in one of your previous threads, you mentioned you had a chat with ryan terry. He used to train with high volume training. Did you have time to talk about yours and his thoughts regarding training?

This is something told by Dr. Jacob and Ben Pakulsi. I do not believe 45 minutes is enough either, but 3 hours, personally I cannot keep the intensity up like the first 1-1.5hour
