    Hi JP,

I just watched your video on progressive overload and this is good stuff! In terms of your nutrition, how is it structured at the moment? Do you usually cut carbs that contain gluten when you are prepping? Or you do not think is important?

    Hi Mort,

These are the tests above range:

    Urea 53mg/dl range 10-50
    Uric Acid: 6.5md/dl range 3.4-7
    creatinine: 1.28mg/dl 0.7-1.20

    Cortisol(7-10am): 703 nmol/l range 171-536

    Prolachtin: 24.18 ng/ml range 4.6-21.4

    Oestradiol 37.56 pg/ml range 7.63-42.6

My nutrition is p220, c380 f55. I weigh 90kg and my height is 1.80m I sleep around 6.5-7 hours per night. I do not take any drugs apart from supplements, whey protein, vitargo, dextrose, creatine, glutamine, zinc and magnesium.

I trained with high volume the last 3 weeks before my bloodtest, around 40 sets per workout 5 day split with lot of dropsets and supersets. Now I changed to ppl split with minimum volume, and I feel a lot fuller and way much stronger.

I tried to explain as much as I could. 🙂

    Hi JP,

I saw your post with the last pull session. Is there any particular season you did not put targeted weight to lift in some exercises?

Mort, in the video JP is talking that most trainers spend the whole time of the workout in metabolic work. He also explains that he does some metabolic work in his workouts as well. I am new to low volume training, all I know about doing metabolic work is supersets and dropsets. How can I have metabolic work in my workout and at the same time achieve progressive overload?

p.s the video is rest period

I generally have oily scalp and this goes to my forehead as well. This is enhanced with oily foods. I found out that peanut butter, almonds and generally nuts suit more do not increase acne as avocado does. Is there any issue with consuming nuts apart from the fact that they are mostly omega 6?

Hi Jordan, with low volume training, do you increase workout volume during cutting period? For example, do you introduce supersets, dropsets? If yes, can you give an example of a workout?

Yes, I totally agree with you, but even JP says to increase mwtabolic work at some point IF NEEDED. So, when is needed how you introduce metabolic work in a push session for example. I noticed the effect of intense training as well. ?

    Thanks.

I really do not want to way increase my workout volume since from the moment I switched to low volume training I saw the greatest transformation of my body.

I will do so. It is not severe pain, it feels like nerve pain, on days that I feel it, I can spot traps imbalance on the mirror. Does this give you a clue?
