Rice, Almond or oat milk are best buddy depending on calories you have to play with

Would you always opt for unsweetened I’m moving into an off-season now so would you say it doesn’t really matter?

Unsweetened Almond milk is a good alternative.

Is there a big different between having unsweetened and normal?
The sweetened will have added sugar and more calories, so you’d need to account for that.

    Hey Connor,

You can buy most of the following in sweetened or unsweetened. I would always go for the unsweetened option

    Almond milk

    Soya milk

    Oat milk

    Cashew milk

Perfect I’ll have a look thank you

Start of peak last year vs this year.

Flat depleted and tired – now things get fun as we get fresh, drop inflammation and fill up 🙂

8 lbs heavier on the right – progress has been made despite being off for the longest period of time yet this year and only running 16 weeks total in the offseason and 14 week cycle for this prep.

Extremely happy with this however upon a lot of reflections this could have been a lot better as always. Great lessons this prep and offseason which will lead to a better offseason this year.

Mate some absolutely quality improvements there very excited to see the finish product!

Hi I personally prep all my cor meals Sunday for the week and they are normally fine I usually just mix the whey into the cor when I make it and throw the dark chocolate on in the morning

In my opinion back end of prep the extra few carbs and fats in the vegan whey will make a difference when every variable counts.

Whey iso will never mix as well/volumise as much as a vegan whey or even a concentrate/blend (casein is the goat for volume/consistency imo). It is slightly better in oats if you let the oats cool first before adding, or use frozen berries to do that quickly).

Ultimately as unfun as it sounds end of prep food volume and taste are less important than just getting the quantities of food PERFECT.

Yeah I total agree I did in the end just stick to isolate

You really don’t need to get as intricate as tracking the water in your coffee just actual water you have daily – unless you’re around your peak week and being specifically told not to. Just focus on training well, eating right, being adherent and you’ll do just fine

I compete Sunday so would you pay more attention to it then? Probably should have mentioned that prior

I’ve already been mugged off for asking this sort of question so may as well help you out and tell you what they told me which was to just hit a certain water intake goal then whatever coffees and diet drinks you have is just extra

Ah right mate cheers appreciate that!

Ah okay I just always thought that an isolate would be the best protein you could use full stop really so the only difference is the fact of the macros not that isolate contains better protein to a vegan whey?

I would personally opt for the Isolate over the Vegan as it’s the purest, highest bioavailability protein source and it digests perfectly for me, but that doesn’t mean the Vegan Protein isn’t beneficial if you prefer to use that. It’s still a good source of protein. Some people simply prefer the taste, find it digests well and use it to add variety to their diet. It’s splitting hairs really.
Ah right I understand now appreciate the time you’ve taken to answer Clare
