Whey protein tends to be quite sensitive to heat and denatures under high temperatures. This alters the structure of the proteins (Not the nutritional value) and causes the consistency to be a lot thinner. My guess is that the vegan protein isn’t as sensitive and holds it’s structure better.
Not a lot you can do. Adding more water to the COR and Whey will increase the amount, but you’ll need to microwave it for longer and continuously stir it in an attempt to make it thicker. You can also leave it to rest in a fridge after cooking which will thicken it further.
Some people add baking soda, but I think you risk messing up digestion when you start adding random things to foods in a prep to try and increase volume or taste.
Was originally using vegan whey but switched to jp iso whey as I just presumed using and isolate would be more beneficial than vegan whey is that the case is using isolate more beneficial?
More beneficial for what? The JP Vegan Protein and Whey Isolate are both quality products and could both be used at different times to add some variety to your diet. The Isolate will contain marginally less fat and carbs, but It really comes down to preference and digestion.

Ah okay I just always thought that an isolate would be the best protein you could use full stop really so the only difference is the fact of the macros not that isolate contains better protein to a vegan whey? -

Hey bud
If you read the label it outlines it for you there my man, iso pro is purest whey you can buy
Ah nice one thank you so it’s worth the extra money then also used the iso today and had no stomach issues so far using so very happy! Can come off the vegan whey I’ve been using
Like I said in previous post
Iso / iso pro from tbjp won’t cause an issue
Quality iso never will
The shit that companies add to theirs is what causes issues
Exactly! Iso pro next then code kuba10 of course -

What is a whey hydro isolate & isolate blend what’s the benefits to it if you don’t mind me asking
It’s a blend of hydro whey and isolate, very high digestibility and quality
The same benefits as iso pro or any top quality iso but even better and likely better taste
Right perfect thank you for that! I’ve been using vegan whey due to stomach issues I tried the iso and that still gave me slight issues will the be possibly one I could use?
Iso pro you wouldn’t have any issues with at all or the iso. This I have no doubts you won’t have issues with either.
Okay maybe I’ll try the iso again since I’ve removed other foods since might not have actually been the isolate then cheers for all that!
100% be fine, iso would never cause an issue if quality is high so you’ll be safe with TBJP better if you use my code to buy it my man – KUBA10 you know drill
Yeah I’ve got a tub of iso at home I’ll give it a go tomorrow and don’t worry I don’t buy without kuba10 -

Really appreciate everyone who took the time to reply after reading through especially what @Jordan_peters said I don’t really need to stress I am going with novice as this is what I am just aiming to bring the best I can! Thank you everyone
-
Connor I would place zero , ZERO importance on how you do. That’s why the class doesn’t matter . First comps are about having fun and working out if this is for you going forward . Don’t leave that decision in the hands of judges .
Thank you Jordan yeah I’ll stop stressing about it I signed up for novice I’ll do novice height shouldn’t matter anyway as long as I bring my best package
-
Toss a coin, it’s your first show, it literally doesn’t matter
Yeah you’re right just going to be worse stressing suppose I originally signed up for novice and it’s a bigger class see how I do
-
Can you do both? I think it’s always worth entering an open class, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or not because it will give you an idea of where you stand up against more experienced athletes and you’ll have some feedback of areas to improve. Entering the Novice class will give you more of an even playing field and enable you to compete against other athletes that are all in the same position. This class is usually on stage first too, so it can help to settle some nerves before going back on for the open.
You can only do one unfortunately just struggling with what one to enter

Triple choc or fudge are my favourite too!
Think I’ll go fudge that sounds good
-
Triple choc and fudge are my faves buddy
Iso pro is my go to!
Perfect thank you I’ll give them a go
