    my rest day is 140g of fat

    there is an upper limit to everything….but there isn’t a formula to work this out…more trial and error and everyone is different

    I discussed this previously when I altered my diet a month ago…
    I have gone to pro fat rest day because body fat was too high – when I am leaner I will likely be able to re introduce carbs on rest day

    in general having tried higher carb rest days I much prefer to run them a lot lower – focussing carbs peri workout

    hey rotties

    meal 1 – I would never add carbs….I like pro fat for this period. – hence not having carbs…I also wouldn’t ever use bread as I prefer cleaner eating
    its just the set up of my diet really as pwo is always going to be high carb and just trace fats as I don’t want to slow down the uptake of the carbs…so the opportunities for mixed meals across my training day are sparse, but I do have mixed meals

    meal 1 – pro fat
    pre gym – MIXED
    intra – pro carb
    pwo – pro carb
    meal – MIXED
    pre bed – pro fat

    rest day is zero carb at the moment – so not a consideration

    I think having 1 predominant macro is best …ie higher fat or carb…and then the other lower….I feel the body can more efficiently partition this fuel (in my case)

    if you are trying to get more kcals in then fats are an easy addition so then meals are more likely to creep high in fat content

    TODAY UPDATE

    no im not going to do a minute for minute …haha today has been a logistical nightmare – but a great day

    Jordan trained, but its my rest day…2 friends (kate and jamie) popped up from Essex to see my new house and have a catch up. which was lush…wandered round then had lunch…they ate I had a sparking water WITH ICE AND LIME!! 😉

    but first I had to drop jord at the gym…then after I had treatment with Dan which was perfect….popped into the shop, then went back over to my sisters as my mum was babysitting my niece for the evening and I thought I give her a few hours company

    so its been a here there and everywhere kinda day 🙂

    tomorrow I am training…LOAN RANGER STYLE….and Jordan is resting and have treatment with Dan but he is coming for a home visit

    might get my mum to take frank whilst he is here, as lets face it, its had to be productive when being licked and or humped by a Frenchie haha

    Daniel – be careful what you wish for…. I can promise you the life I lead is not one to be envied 90% of the time – there is a lot of shit to be dealt with both physically and mentally…so just relish in everything you do have…that’s I what I do..treat everything with appreciation 🙂

    Dan – yep Im beginning to realise this after typing it out haha …that’s just half a day…its been nearly 9 years lol 🙂

    I use amazing grass greens powder – choc flavour

    Kip – I literally put cinnamon on EVERYTHING! …. pretty sure my blood work came back as 45% coffee, 45% cinnamon, 10% other important haematology stuff haha

    well I hope my point is coming across….there is literally nothing in the slightest bit magic or different about what we do

    I think we all no the onslaught of 12.30 til about 3pm…TRAINING

    nothing to add there other than a few less glamorous bits that don’t make it only the videos….ie me trying to put jordans waist training on as tight as I can….every time I ask him to turn the opposite way, but as strong as he may be he never gives enough resistance…I end up running round like a dog chasing its tail lol

    more often than not have at least 1 argument about reracking or something trivial…sometimes I forget to write his number in the log book so ill be given the eye roll…hmm that’s about it for the session other than what you see.

    afterwards Jordan usually sneaks out the back door as its closer to the car and ill walk out the front after collecting all our belongings that are scattered sporadically around the whole gym lol …luckily Tesh (the most wonderful guy) that works in the gym always has my back here and will find our stuff or keep it safe lol

    I walk out the front to say bye….as I like to be social, open the car, dump the bag, get my grunt for the way home and knock back my vits (outlined above)
    undo the windows before Jordan gets in

    drive home….usually talk about the session sometimes not, depends on the level of ‘FUCKED’ post training…after legs….typically no chat,…after something slightly less neutrally damaging, there will be a little exchange haha 🙂

    depending what time it is I either park outside our house (after 4pm can park free for 1 hour then no regulation after 5pm) if its earlier, ill drop Jordan off and then park the car in the car park and walk back – defo only 2 mins now as the bottles are empty!

    My car is called Robyn…if that’s of interest to anyone too 🙂

    back in the door at 4pm – say hello to my baby (frank)

    then I prepare pwo 🙂

    so 9.30am ish

    Jordan is still sleeping

    get the pans out

    weigh out the turkey , add water to the pan as I don’t use oil to cook this meal – cook
    weigh out the jasmine rice, add 1 drop of evoo – cook
    weigh out my whey, mix to a paste and put in the fridge
    weigh out my fruit (apple, pear and papaya , those are my favourites) and the coconut oil – put in the fridge
    weigh out the ground rice, add a pinch of salt and 1 sweetner, add boiling water, mix – cook in the microwave – keep checking and stirring.. NOTHING WORST THAN AN OVER SPILT BOWL – DAY RUINER THAT!

    add spinach to the turkey and a little salt to the rice and meat.

    weigh out eaas

    whilst cooking I mix the workout stuff

    currently I use grunt on route and on route home
    intra I use aminatour, nitrx, raging full, peptopro

    Jordan uses pharmagrade on route there and back
    intra – pharma grade and raging full

    measure out the immediate pwo supps – magnesium, l theanine, ashwaganda, l carn

    Jordan emerges and sits down

    feed frank – at the mo, making sure I put his medicines in the food too…he has a combo of tripe, natures own dog food, usually a chewy stick and some cooked scraps from the turkey or fish or steak from the day before.

    plate up the food
    add a little cinnamon to the top of my ground rice
    make myself a cold coffee….literally coffee and water – magic

    get the log books out so Jordan can write in his session
    then I write mine out after I have eaten

    laptop up and work

    I eat my fruit and coconut oil first
    I then eat the ground rice
    I then eat the whey
    drink my cold coffee – THERE IS NO SCIENCE TO THE ORDER…

    about 45mins after this I will take another 5 mg yohimbine and another gh shot

    get the drinks filled to the top, put everything in the gym bag – GOD FORBID I FORGET ANYTHING….IT WOULD RUIN THE WHOLE SESSION AND THE WHOLE DAY – CANT RISK THAT DURING A PREP (note sarcasm…)

    I then take the house key off the car key, and walk to the car park to collect the car – about 2min walk…maybe 3mins with the bags and bottles in….THE BAG WEIGHS A SHIT TON LOL

    I get in the car put the vits in the side compartment, bag on the back seat.
    engine on
    windows done

    I drive down the road to collect Jordan from outside the house (I hope he has locked the door haha)
    immediately ask for the key – IF WE LOSE THAT IN THE GYM WE ARE SCREWED

    drive to the gym…radio on.. I LIKE RADIO ONE

    brief chat, maybe…sometimes not
    drink on route nutrition

    arrive at the gym and park….
    get the bag out the back, lock the car and walk through the door….usually about 12.30 now
