just back from the vets…she didn’t try to put dye in his eye again as it would have been a big stress so she just managed to have a look into it…there are blood vessels going back into the area that was affected so that’s a good sign….I have managed to give him eye drops and hes taken all his meds ….so back next Thursday now to see if its even better 🙂

back on Saturday to check him again and hopefully its just an ulcer which will heal and hasn’t gone deeper into the eye
its a NIGHTMARE trying to put eye drops in!! I have about 5 diff meds….I managed to get 1 drop in his eye this morning…I think lol
tablets he is fine to eat as he is a piggy

not had a good morning
took Frank to the vets as his eye has been sore….they had to sedate him 🙁 and he was crying and screaming
he then went into the surgery room and I was sent home 🙁
so I brought myself some flowers for my tiny tiny gardenhes ok ish…back home now but his floppy and sorry…I have lots of meds for him…bloods and info have been referred to the eye specialist 🙁
I literally feel heart broken

I think everything has justified a bit extra food along the way – I think that’s smart….I don’t have high days in prep….largely because I have stayed very lean in the past so my preps are always short in duration – like 7/8 weeks…so they aren’t warranted…I also feel that more daily food is just more productive long term to retaining muscle and recovery during prep.
ive also been guilty of staying too lean and this does cost progress a little – but im sure improvements have been made!
noted on the training – im pleased its fitting well 🙂
maybe post up some more progress pics soon? then we can assess those as well 🙂

@jdh – I would be inclined to agree…but as Jordan mentioned…he isn’t ill / feverish AT ALL…which is very unusual…every other time we have had an episode like this he has been sick as dog
if there wasn’t a comp I would be encouraging a dr trip asap

im pleased you are basing high days on the important signs NOT just because…. or trying to justify it
so 8 weeks out now – and you are clearly dropping well…are you happy with the improvements you have made since last show? are u confident to hit even better condition?
would u plan to alter ur training volume or set up at all? and I believe you are still cardio free?

so yes using macadamia nut oil is a positive due to its higher level of oleic acid compared to other types of oilI don’t no if youre UK or abroad….but I have brought it from Tesco! lol

you say it works best for you….so why change if its working?I like carbs pre and post…as your body can very efficiently use the fuel post training and this will help with recovery and repair

agreed on the above and I personally love the addition of fruit
good for digestion too – ie pineapple
BUT remember not to have tooooo much as we have limited storage for fructose as this is stored in the liver unlike other carbs – so an excess of fruit means you may over spill your capacity and then that fuel will be likely stored as fat

you wouldn’t be able to run this 3 on in my opinion (as mentioned above)
Also do you think you are giving each body part enough volume across the week?
I don’t like training chest and back in one session as I find one will always suffer in terms of progress
also come back, your grip may be impaired from the push workalso i dont think there is enough leg work
