as far as im aware….you cant have body part glycogen depletion – you have 1 store in the body
hiit uses glycogen more so as its fuel source due to the nature of the exercise compared to passive liss cardio
some people can recover from hiit just as they can to liss – as you say, very persona dependant
I never found it took away from my weight sessions – could also be argued that it helps with leg development as you are using power against load …cyclists have ridiculous quads!
arguments could go on for hours in terms of which is best
I find that most people cant perform hiit to the intensity required to justify using it over normal passive cardio – so I tend to use liss with clients

as I general guide I would go back to about the same kcals ur are on at 8 weeks out
then start from thereobjective number 1 straight out the gate is to improve….don’t muck about being too lean for too long…Ive made this mistake over and over again – not fun

so another busy one for me
went to London Saturday reallyyyy early morning – had a day with friends – planted trees then a chocolate class in the evening
stayed over – no homeNO MORE PLANS NOW haha

you cant uptake nutrients without fluid
you need water to help break down the food and to avoid constipationwater wouldn’t dilute stomach acid/digestive enzymes to any extent that would harm digestion…the body adapts to the fluid you consume so would alter the balance
there are actually a few papers on this if you were interested in reading more π

hey – so I think its about 4am uk time
still in Melbourne
Jordan and luke has gone to train
I have been hit with a 48hour cough/thing….think the leg session on Saturday was a bad idea haha
so I didn’t train yesterday
and ive rested today as we fly tomorrow and I really don’t want to write myself off for a week once homeil train Thursday/Friday
rest the weekend
then back to the 5 day split from Monday
going back to mon/tues/wed..fri/satill be fine by tomorrow I’m sure π

josh – if u have always counted them then count them
if you never have then don’t startits more a trial and error situation…there is no rule to this
if you are trying to grow then protein only meals in my view aren’t optimal…yes try 10g of fat that’s 90kcals so a nice increase use foods you enjoy as this is your off season then any trace kcals that come with the fat choice will be a staple π
