    thank fully my androgens are in control! that would have been a very difficult outcome for me…as I wouldn’t have felt comfortable risking femininity by ever considering supps again

    yes I think so, ill likely just go private with blood work a couple of times per year when needed 🙂

    now just to get this dam thyroid to behave haha so I can feel a little more myself again 🙂

    Back from the Dr

    Good news is that test was 0.4….not 22 !! soooo it must been a bad array from medichecks…which is pretty frustrating to be honest …I wont be using them again

    so its thyroid….T3 was STILL low …so just awaiting stefans decision on this. I am going to add exogenous t3 as literally the moment I stopped using it, my wellbeing deteriorated in line with hypothyroidism…so its a must from now on to put me in range

    not sure what the junmp was from….maybe inflammation from my burnt leg? lol its blistering a little now so really did get VERY lucky…and it was leg day today so I patched it up best I could and cracked on

    SESSION

    Dual leg seated Ham curl – 3 sets
    Banded leg press – 2 sets
    Lower back hack – 2 sets
    Single leg split squat on the smith – 2 sets – 1 DD to bodyweight
    Leg extensions – 2 x TD sets
    Prone ham curl – 1 set, 1 TD set
    Adductor – 1 rest pause set with 5 secs rest between
    Abductor – 1 rest pause set with 5 secs rest between
    Toe press – 2 sets, 1 TD set

    eating pwo now – then rushing off for my appointment – PLEASEEEE do not get stuck in traffic ! 🙂

    I think we all do this to an extent anyway as I have the same foods each day so the spectrum is unintentionally pretty narrow!

    and again if you are gut sensitive then its very likely you will be sticking to very basic narrow choices too?

    I’m not sure how much more effective this would be in honesty….I think it would be very person dependent…if you over eat the same food too often than some people would become adversely affected by this with gut irritation/intolerance etc

    I am a massive stan fan! so I’m not trying to put down the idea…il have to do some more reading on it 🙂

    TUESDAY 27TH FEB
    WEIGHT – 161

    PUSH SESSION:

    Wide HS press – 2 sets – all time PB on this…72.5kg each side for 6 reps 🙂
    High incline DB press – 2 sets
    High incline HS press – 2 sets
    Dip machine – 2 sets
    Seated Cable fly – 2 sets
    CHEST STRETCH
    Seated DB bicep curl – 3 sets
    Single arm machine curl – 1 TD set
    BICEP STRETCH
    Reverse pec dec – 1 set, 1 TD set
    Machine side raise – 1 set, 1 TD set
    SHOULDER STRETCH
    Abs – rope crunch – 2 sets, 1 TD set

    nice and strong – not feeling super up for it pre session at the moment but the sessions themselves are decent

    dr appointment tomorrow evening to get blood results and discuss what/if anything further is needed
    just under 2 weeks til we fly to Melbourne…CANT WAIT…as I get to spend time with Lucy, one of my best friends who now lives over there…we have been friends all through school since we were 4 🙂

    sent Stefan a posing video today…HATEEEEE doing this in off season…gross lol
    he was happy with where we are…so no change needed 🙂

    rest day today

    this morning, I managed to pour a whole kettle of freshly boiled water on my leg…hooray!!

    luckily I moved pretty fast, straight into a cold shower and sat with a wet cloth on my leg for most of the morning…now its a sudacreamed up and I think I got off bloody lucky!

    usual today – Tesco…walks with frank…bit of cleaning…cooking/eating/resting 🙂

    feels really nice to rest after the hammy session

    and tomorrow we have push…we are filming again too 🙂

    was this with medichecks?

    personally I wouldnt be too concerned as you are within range and then a little over…these are notoriously hard to test accurately

    if you have other symptoms then i would seek a professional

    also depends on your job/daily activity

    if youre a manual worker you will likely need carbs all day…if you sit at a desk then you maybe don’t need carbs at all?

    so lots of factors to consider there

    but I have the app on Wednesday to get and discuss the result – so then at least I can work out the next forward as so far I haven’t obviously made an intervention to improve as I don’t know what the problem actually is (if any)

    John – spot on…you are like a sponge for info haha

    and also….I am a powerlifter (when I want to be haha)…so I do bench… 😉

    male/ female….I don’t buy into the sex game…we have a body…we have muscles…we need to train them…YES focus in on details to create the look or target weaknesses….as john mentioned females would need a more developed upper chest then lower for the WPD look on stage….BUT in my view I wouldn’t then solely train the upper…as strength is developed from overall strength and mass.

    TODAY HAM FOCUSSED LEG SESSION:

    Deficit deads – 3 sets of 10….got 125kg x 10, x 10, x 11 – controlled eccentric – ALWAYS underestimate how hard these are haha …used 4 inch deficit to make sure it was a big variation to normal deads
    Undergrip HS pull down – 3 sets
    High cable cuff rear delts – 2 high rep sets
    Dual leg seated ham – 2 sets, 1 TD set
    Weighted hyper – 2 sets, 1 DD set
    Lower back hack wide to hit glute/ham – 2 sets, 1 TD set
    Dual leg Leg extension – 1 QD set
    Adductor – QD
    Abductor – QD
    standing calf – 2 sets, 1 TD set

    good session – good connection with all exercises and hit everything as I needed to
