update from me
i had a busy old week last week….baked over 200 macaroons in Cheltenham for my friends wedding…after noon tea with my mum for her birthday…down to Essex..stayed in a lovely apartment, trained in ripped / worked etc….weight dropped back to 150 from the baking and the from the dancing at the wedding…so i had 5 days of eating up pretty much! and had a brilliant time 🙂
no its Tuesday morning…had a BRILLIANT leg session yesterday…and weight is not back at 154 🙂
benching today should go well…as with push movements i do really fine that weight moves weight
i have 3 weeks and 4 days left until the 10 week out mark
its flying!
no other big commitments now so luckily i can escape into the bubble of diet and NO travelling!

I keep to my usual…rice , rice cakes, jam honey, cereal …I have a big appetite so I don’t need to resort to junky/sugary foods too much 🙂

this would suggest that your energy expenditure demands more on the TD and less on the RD ,,,why not increase kcals peri workout and reduce carbs on rest days?

the protein in beans – black beans, chickpeas, kidney beans is also bioavailable too so these would be a good choice
I find the hardest task for vege diets, are the pro fat meals…as a lot of the proteins are carb dense too
eggs are great as mentioned and of course dairy
add 3g leucine to meals too
ensure the whey and aminos you use are of very high quality

I don’t recommend drugs at all…as diet and training and energy balance are the key to fat loss

me and Jordan don’t train together sooo there wont be videos of the 2 of us I’m afraid!
deads were decent….felt detrained! but second session will be better…ive got deficit deads tomorrow….first time in a VERYYYYYY LONG time for those haha

yes – very slow process…you need to food and weight to hit totals so its best to never really stray from your meet weightgetting autonomous with the 3 main lifts is the only way to improve your total…and pinpoint where you break down…and then target that area with accessory work within your recovery capabilities

as james said – alternate the priority
I like to used a narrow press as the main compound on 1 rotation and a normal grip chest compound on the other
this way you are targeting the both chest and tricep BUT focussing a little more on one than the other each timeALSO
if you have particularly lagging triceps, then make them your priority each time anyway in order to bring them up….so start push with narrow grip press, dips…then move onto shoulder work and chest isolationtrainedbyjp@hotmail.co.uk |

whats is your job? are you active?
there is no harm in having the carbs pre intra and pwo and focussing them peri workout
BUT if you very active in your job then you likely will need some more fuel in the daytime

thanks for the kind words 🙂I will stay on 25mcg t3 between now and then next show as its only 15 and a half weeks away
I should get my blood test kit in the post today or tomorrow, so as soon as I have my blood results I will post them up too 🙂
rest day today – nothing much planned
will have a trip out with frank and Jordan

my 1000carb day saw me push up a good 3-4 lbs and weight has held nicely
TRAINING DAY CARBS – 650
REST DAY CARBS – 200the increase in rest day to 200 from 150 still sees me drop 1-2 , but this is enough for now….so I have about 10lbs to put on still, but we will monitor this in line with look and performance and alter as needed
I have a week at home this week! what a luxury…no trains or planes or travel! so going to be fairly sedentary and really focus on my short term goal to retain this muscle and get a little heavier.

its hard to pinpoint the benefit of 1 sup alone as I run a fair amount of health supps….so in honesty I couldn’t say I have noticed a difference with or without it per say….I know that the mix of supps I do rely on leave me feeling good mentally and physicallyI doubt it would be powerful enough to replace an exogenous AI medication, but I would recommend adding it in at 200mg am and 200mg pm 🙂
