getting there…annoyingly I will avoid low back loading stuff (ie the good stuff! squats etc..) for a few more weeks when I’m back into training and focus on increasing strength on leg presses etc….it wont be an issue, just a little annoying as I like to choose the hardest exercises 🙂

I have been good and have rested all week so far! haha not been fun…but its kinda nice as Jordan is running a test peak week, so I have been the gym caddy haha
back is feeling a lot better…im planning to start training again on Saturday…currently working on my plan which I will update you all with 🙂

hey 🙂 I personally don’t suffer with digestions prblems luckily…but Jordan often does…digestive enzymes with meals are superb…ensuring you hydrated also works wonders …is it specific foods that cause issues?

hey steve 🙂 its great to track your daily activity on any device when trying to reduce fat…ensuring you hit a steady target each day will allow you to use this as an easy tool to get leaner…in answer to increasing cals…yes, if you want to grow you need to eat…and a little fat loss is inevitable. BUT stay within 15lbs of your leanest weight and monitor fat gain…when you reach that upper limit…stop pushing and spend some time reducing fat again…if you undulate like this you will stay leaner than before, ensure fat is never hanging around for too long and getting stubborn and also gives you set targets…increase food peri workout first of all and ensure you utilise by training horrible hard!!

hey, sorry I’m not JP…but as a rule , don’t get heavier than 15-20lb from your leanest…then when you do have a 6 week period of tapering back down and impriving condition again…growing REQUIRES a surplus so some fat gain is part and parcel…increase food very slowly, peri workout…until you reach that top weight…monitor your stubborn/fatty areas and ensure they stay as tight as possible 🙂 hope that helps

FT is great for improving composition….it hits arms with high frequency so would indeed work with this too…I think as long as exercise selection is correct, it will work well to bring up arms

hey Charlie..having a coach will certainly alleviate the stress of decisions! perhaps try to train LESS days per week and also deload often? so you don’t get into the cycle of over training and then deteriorating both mentally and through injury? a stricter diet approach may help along with nutrient timing.

best to forget about the perception and just work with your own personal numbers…which is what you are doing 🙂 there are no rules to who needs what, as like you have done its great to track things and then alter to suit yourself 🙂

I think its easier to stop overthinking the objective numbers and look at the variables you can control….if you current diet is seeing you GAIN weight and body fat then you are in a surplus..if you are DROPPING weight and getting leaner, then you are in a deficit…of course training should be factored in as this is the key element to altering you physique and composition…once your look/weight is stable then that is your maintenance level…from here you can play with different factors, be it calories, training volume etc etc to see you move in either direction depending on your goal

I prefer a mid incline! about number 3/4 on the bench 🙂 so you can really hit the correct muscle through the whole ROM without hitting the floor 🙂
