    Hi mate,

Agree these don’t need to be logged from a perspective of contribution to effective work, but I personally do like to keep a track of the jumps I’ve taken, as much to understand what works well from both a priming for strength, and from a making my joints comfortable perspective.

Understandable. That’s kind of what I was thinking as well.

Realistically I don’t think I’m at the point regarding body fat level where implementing something like yohimbine would be super effective and I don’t think 4 weeks would be enough time to get there. Was just curious if something like that would be useful when you are nearing those super low levels of body fat and pushing the diet really hard.

So right now I’m 10 weeks in to a 14 week cut. Started at 182.5 lbs and weighed in at 168.4 this morning. Current macros are at 186g protein, 120g carbs, 61g fat. Cardio is being done 4x a week on non training days, either a brisk walk outdoors or zone2 on an airdyne bike.

I’m not prepping for a show or anything, just wanted a better starting point for a growth phase. I specifically planned the duration of the cut to end a couple days before my soon to be son’s due date because I know the lack of sleep with a newborn will absolutely destroy me mentally and physically combined with being in a deficit.

I’m willing to push the diet as hard as possible for the next 4 weeks.

    Hi Rob,

6 sets on push with 4 sleeps should be good. Obviously there’s a need for you to find out how it works for you, and you’ll get feedback from your progress on that.

No reason for you to dive into it expecting anything other than it to be successful though mate.

Get after it. Be patient, be consistent, be accurate, work hard 🙌🏻

    Perfect. Thanks Rich!

I think A/B rotations would suffice and it is okay to hit leg extensions on both lower days . You can work on different rep ranges OR you can train the adductor directly too .. there’s no wrong in either .

Got it! Thank you for the feedback. Do you think the push volume is good or should I reduce? I figure 6 sets for push volume is ok since I’ll be getting at least 4 sleeps between any of the upper sessions.
