I feel your pain buddy. I work as a bathroom fitter / tiler and have this exact same problem, currently waiting on an op to remove the bursa from the front of my right knee. I train full body ,day on day off . I’ve just found it to be a case of trial and error to see what you can recover from. Sometimes if I’m forced to leave the legs out of that session for a day then so be it. In my mind it’s better to hit the next session fresh and keep progressing.
