Are you rotating any other sessions or just this one? There are quite a few rest pause/drop sets in there which may make it a little more difficult to recover from. Personal preference but if you are just running this selection of exercises I’d consider breaking it down another level to heavy upper/light lower and vice vera to decrease CNS fatigue.

I also think that adding drops/RP sets all the time decreases the number of tools we have available at a later date to break plateaus/change the stimulus, etc.

Hi ???? This is quite an open ended question. If, say for example, you are training once or twice per week, then forcing everything may be okay. However, if you train 5 days/week then it may be too much to force these extra reps.

Essentially, make sure that the volume/frequency you train at is recoverable. If your recovery strategy is optimal then you could be okay.

Personally, I wouldn’t use them every set and every workout simply because the impact on the CNS will be high.

I hope this helps in some way ????????????

    Thanks JP,
I look forward to seeing a pic of your logbook! 🙂
You mentioned above, in your hammy workout that you did glute ham raise on the lat pull down. How do you set this move up?

    Hi JP,
Just a quick one. I log my sessions, but i watched one of the videos where you spoke of the variables you can manipulate to create overload. Typically, I record sets, weights and reps. Do you record anything else? and could we maybe see an example of how you record things in your log (if thats not asking too much!)?

    Thanks JP
