Face your fear. I got stuck under a Leg Press once, not fun, took 3 guys to stop the weight from crushing my feet and one to pull me out. The next time I went to do it, it was bloody scary, but I was 6 weeks out, so had no choice but to crack on.

Now I’m more scared of my legs being a weak body part than being stuck again haha!

Yea it’s not nice bud. I was readjusting my feet position and my foot just slipped. Wasn’t nice

Do you have the ability to limit the range of the machines? With the use of stoppers? This way you won’t have the fear of getting pinned in the hole and can work the depth down as your confidence grows

That or maybe start back on these pieces with some higher rep work just so that the loads are not so intimidating

Hi Richie I train at the best gym around world fitness. Doncaster but these pieces of kit don’t have stoppers

hi joe. It’s definitely a fear now. All my leg sessions since have been half hearted on these pieces of kit. I was stuck between the platform and 260kg How my knees didn’t pop I have no idea

Initially you can avoid these exercises by replacing with others such as smith squat, barbell back squats, v squat, pendulum squat, pendulum leg press, whatever your gym has as an alternative. Have a period of time using alternatives until you have forgotten about the accident you had. But eventually you should face them again. Start with a weight you are very comfortable with and then slowly build it back up. Make sure your mind is fully switched on and make each rep slow and controlled. Eventually you will forget about what happened before and you will be progressing again.

It’s like when you have injured a bodypart. You will avoid using it for a period of time and work around the injury. But eventually you will have to start using that body part once healed. Initially it may affect your mind but you have to keep focussed and telling yourself there is no problem any longer. After a number of weeks you will be stronger and confident and soon forgotten about the injury.

You control these feelings, so you can overcome them!!

If you bulk up your oats with water you’ll find it keeps you fuller for longer

80 g oats and 2 scoop isolate will be more filling than a bagel with the egg whites I think. But tr to volumize the food woth green veggies eggwhites and some stuff into the oats like locust bean flour if you can digest it ???? hope this helps matey✌️

It’s not always were I have to cram them it’s now and again. Like yesterday I had to eat my last two meals together which were turkey mince and rice and cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. Which was just like a main and a desert to be honest lol

I’d say if it’s working, then stick with it. You’re dropping bodyfat and performance and strength is still good, so no need to change imo. When things begin to stall, you’ve got an option to pull carbs further from your rest days. You’ve also got NEAT and cardio to play with if needed. Good work so far!

Thanks Claire.like I say I’ve bulked Upto 21.3 but came of gear back in October, but held size and strength because of the food ect. But my strength is not dipping at all I just feel tiny now

If you’re happy with your rate of loss, then stick with what’s working. Like I said, there are options to push further when needed. And we all feel tiny when we cut!
