I’d say if it’s working, then stick with it. You’re dropping bodyfat and performance and strength is still good, so no need to change imo. When things begin to stall, you’ve got an option to pull carbs further from your rest days. You’ve also got NEAT and cardio to play with if needed. Good work so far!

It’s hard to get mindset right again after these sorts of things. But like Corinne said, get a spotter to stand with you to give you piece of mind. Don’t try and move your feet again midset. And just get back to it, hopefully you are log booking so just get back to progressing your numbers and everything should take care of itself. Take it easy bud.

I agree with rich – an unfortunate accident

maybe the platform was a little wet from rain on a shoe or something, or maybe the souls of your ryders are getting a little thinner and making them less grippy

defo get a spotter to make you feel a little more at ease

check for water etc before you start

    check your shoes

if you really don’t feel that you can use that piece for now, then use an alternative ????

For me that’s a freak accident mate. Probably not something you’ll do again (trying to readjust your foot position under load), so the chances of a repeat accident are slim

There’s always a risk when you lift heavy weights, but you can minimise that risk by making good decisions

In short, there doesn’t need to be a repeat incident, so just follow steps to ensure that it doesn’t

    It was pretty scary mate.

Just go off the labelling on the packet. I’m dieting at moment so each meal for me is 50g raw weight rice. Which gives me around 38g carbs. I have four rice meals a day so I cook 200g raw rice and weigh it cooked then divide it by 4

I’ve been suffering last couple of days. Had a treatment and been rehabbing myself. Cricket ball in the area. Foam rolling and plenty of stretching. Mines stemming from my right glute into my lower back causing swirling around the si joint so it’s really twingey and causing spasms. I feel movement helps. Too much sitting and lying down causes it to stiffen a lot.
